I Got The Hook-Up 2

This is one of my all time favorite movies, if you grew up in the 90s this is legit one of them ones. I love this movie because it’s how I grew up, around fast talking hustlers lol. It might not be for everyone but I’m sure there are some folks that can relate

I Loved everything about this moive! It was action packed, excellent casting, one the Best Comedy movies I've seen in a while. I lmao, got pulled into the plot and even cried at the end. Master P did an excellent job with entire production. This is the first ever movie I've purchased or watch off amazon and I'm a prime member. I'm a black entrepreneur and this was both very motivating and entertaining. I want one of those limefi chip for the wifi, lol nawl fr and I would like to cop some MoneYatti's ! Master P if you reading this review, My name Queen Tuffy and I have a little foot, I need the MONEYATTI REPS 38 SCULPTURE SOCK SNEAKER to come in a size 5, the smallest you make them are a 6.5. I feel like this is just the begging, you have more movies to make for sure and I'm looking forward. Peace & Blessings Nation Building at its finest!

I know Master P wrote, produced, and filmed his own movie and I'm happy for him which is why I rented this movie, but I wish I could get back the hour and 40+ minutes to do something else better with my time. Folks, the movie was awful. The plot was all over the place with no purpose up until the end where you figure out oh ok so after an hour of watching two friends crack jokes on each other, lose money, and then try to save a carry-out joint you're wondering what the point of the movie was. What was the hook up? It seemed like the entire movie had NO script and Master P just yelled, "Roll with it!" He needs help if he thought this was a good movie. Just because he had the money to do it all himself didn't mean he had the talent to do so. He should've used the money to pay a good writer to help him.Lots of cameo appearances, corny humor, too many subplots with no purpose, and I think it should be called I Got Setup for renting this trash. I wish I could give it ZERO stars.

I supported this movie for the culture. This is one of the few times we've seen Black celebrities make something for us, by us. But, let's get REAL! The movie was put together like a low-budget filmmaker from the urban community or class project! There were alot of corners cut in this movie from the poor stunts, to the sound effects, to the acting, to the props. I feel like the time for I got the Hookup has passed and after this addition, it should be put to rest! As Black filmmakers with the money and resources, Mr. Miller you should focus on making films that show the excellence of Black faces and talent. Hood movies are fine but they come a dime a dozen. The only reason this film would standout is because of the names attached to it. As consumers, we need to demand more! I ultimately feel like this film was a money grab and overall let down. It was funny, somewhat but, it certainly left more to be desired.

Well worth the purchase

Although the movie seemed to be all over the place and a little hard to follow, DC Young Fly did it for me, i enjoyed seeing him act in this movie, freaking hilarious (IMO). I do think if more time was put into it, it would have been as good as the first one.Overall its comical, so if you have a sense of humor and you are looking to laugh a little then give it a watch, but if you need a movie to make sense and have a good story line, with all the components, then this isn't for you......

Nice Hood MovieLook here. This movie is a comedy ok. Its not a liongate or paramount movie. This is a independent FILM people! This man Master P put his own Money into this film and to see some of you give it 1 star and complain about this and that,"which is your opinion", is really sad but i know you laughed while watching the movie at least twice. I gave it 5 stars because its a good for a movie done by and for the black community, comedy wise. If you can't respect that, you a hater. Support our culture and stop the damn hate.

I bought the film and did not like it. This had so much potential. Romeo did good as an actor but adding all those people and getting our support for a subpar product is ridiculous. He should have focused the film on the flip side. They are too old to still be doing what they were doing in the film at that level. They should have been the old heads either successful or doing something else. The movie should have flipped and been about Romeo as a cop, his acting wasnt bad, but he could have been chasing down the phone/drug dealers. DC Young Fly's character should have worked for the dealers and then he stumbles across the drugs becomes and informant and sort of sidekick to take down the dealers. They utilize Black and Blue for information and guidance. Film was just all over the place. But I do congratulate them on putting a project like this together, 2 stars, hard work, but at his level it could have been better.
