Habit Short Sleeve River Fishing Guide Shirt Habit founder Dick Mahan could not have had a better introduction to the outdoors. The son of a U.S. Forest Ranger, Dick grew up on an ranger station among the clear mountain streams and hardwood timberlands of the Ozark-St. Francis Natural Forests, a 1.2 million acre-tract that blankets Arkansas’s two mountain ranges. As a boy, he learned quintessential outdoor skills from his grandfather, “one of those old-timers,” who trapped fur to sell and hunted and fished to eat. From the beginning, Dick always knew he would pursue other business interests with outdoor products being at the top of the list. He opened Mahco Outdoors in 1992 and managed to work in numerous trips and safaris to several countries and continents. Dick used his personal experiences in the field to develop and create a line of hunting apparel. Out of this grew the Habit brand and line of products. The River Guide Fishing Shirt is perfect for the day out on the river. Equipped with a Rod Holder, Vented back and Shoulder pockets, & Solar- Factor UPF 40+ UV Protection; this shirt couldn't get any better. This shirt was built for the outdoors, with experience form the outdoors.

Color brighter than picture
A little tight in the shoulders and chest, and too baggy around the waste. It is also good that i will wear waders and a vest over this, because the color is a little loud for me. Brighter than pictured. If there was a little more room in the shoulders and chest this would be a comfortable shirt. I always wear a large, this is just not quite a typical fit. Sleeve length is good. I am 6' tall 210lbs, sleeve comes to just above my elbow. Shirt length is good too, and there is enough room to double my beer belly size and still fit into this shirt.

Nice shirt, minor flaws
My husband works construction and uses these shirts as a work shirt. Advantages: Nice blue color, good length, well-constructed, great pockets, quick-drying, lightweight. Disadvantages: Fabric fades with outdoor use (see picture—it is the same shirt—the faded cloth is in the upper back, the bluer cloth is the bottom of the short sleeve). Despite a back vent, the shirt can be too warm on a hot summer day.

Seeming random styles, but still good
I have bought about 6 Habit shirts from them over the last month or so. All are good quality, Habit brand, but different fabrics based on color. Make sure to check the fabric type to make sure you are getting what you want.Over all pretty satisfied.

Great Shirt
Great shirt. Really like the color and its fit. Have received several compliments on it. Would give it 5 stars if it were a little more wrinkle free.

Comfortable
This shirt is very comfortable, light weight and wrinkle free are great features loved by my husband. However, when we opened the package the wrong color shirt had been sent. Since my husband didn't have that color, we kept it, and ordered the right color again, which will be sent back if it's wrong again.

looks nice, great pockets
I like shirts that have pockets. I carry my cell phone (a small SE) and my hearing aid pouch. This shirt carries them and still has a neat "unbaggy" look.

Great summer outdoor sunscreen shirt!
Shirt fits a bit loose (definitely not tight) which is terrific for hiking, fishing, golf and tennis. Great sunscreen and airflow!

Light and comfortable
Super light. Super comfortable. Love the color. Fits a little big but it’s nice to have the extra room.
