Having just received the basket, I don’t know how to feel about it. I have mixed opinions.I bought this original for my chihuahua who is a pretty hefty boy and always has been. To be honest, weight concerns wasn’t on the top of my mind when I bought this until I saw someone mention how their dog weighed 11lb and could still fit in it with no problems. I bought the item and review it only two days later and quickly put it on my bike. I did a few test runs in my yard with my dog in it as a safety precaution after hearing how a few of them broke on some people who’d bought this before while riding and since my boy is thick, I wanted to make sure that it wouldn’t break.It didn’t but he did certainly weigh the basket down. My biggest peeve (if you could call it that) is that the basket isn’t very sturdy as there is no metal in the basket except the rim of it. For something this costly (although it really only cost me $29 after shipping and tax) you’d think that there’d at least be a metal frame in the basket instead of purely fabric with cardboard at the bottom to keep the bottom open. I can see why it broke on the people who have bought this product before and I can honestly say that none of the other products that I have looked at look any difference from this one. They all use plastic for pet baskets instead of metal.Though I am not mad at that I am a little worried that it may break after the designated time that I’m allowed to return it which means that I will have $20+ sitting in my house, wasted it if breaks.Another thing that I will say is that it is more tall than it is wide and for whatever reason, my dog did not want to sit down so while standing up, the carrier was slightly digging into his neck. It isn’t major and I do know that if he was in a better position it wouldn’t have happened but that’s something to keep in mind.All in all recommend to anyone who is using this for your pet to make your own or spend a little more money (more like a lot more money) on a pet trailer that attaches to the bike of your bike and has wheels. It’s essentially a mini trailer (similar to human ones but of course, smaller) soley for your pet. Save up a little bit of money and purchase it or make your use by going to the hardware store and buying some brackets, your choice of fabric and a pre-made metal basket.And if your using this for food or groceries then this may be right for you but I wouldn’t put anything heavy in this as it could snap.

Hard to assemble. Took me 3 tries. Haven't had my cat in the bag yet.... will probably try another one that just a rack that her backpack will fit into like the city bikes.....

I'm sure I'm now giving off a certain vibe with this basket hanging on the front of my purple comfort cruiser bike. I do belong on a beach boardwalk and I'd fit in better, I think. I plan to do that later this year!However, the basket is great. I can put so much into it for a bike ride. Lock, extra clothes, wallet, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, food, water, bike tools, etc... It is so easy to hook on/off the bike. I've used it almost like a purse or tote. If I stop somewhere I take it in with me. Great for grocery shopping at a place like ALdi. I can put my items in there and save using a cart or needing a bag.It was easy to install but my husband said he turned the bracket around to get it on (???). Not really sure what he meant. It only took a few minutes, so it couldn't have been a big deal.It pretty much travels around with me all the time. If not on my bike it's in the car waiting to be used.I do recommend the basket

And I love that the basket can be detached very easy so when I just want to go for a ride by myself I don’t have to put the basket.. to me is very practical and my chihuahua loves to go on bike rides with me!! It’s a win win!!

I purchased the basket for my dog. She loves it! she is able to sit and reposition comfortably.

10lb dog is very comfortable

Looks to be fairly decent quality for the price easy to install it looks to clip and unclip easily good for the price Larger than I thought it was going to be which is a plus

I was really excited for this. I wanted a place to set my phone and wallet on my bike when riding around. unfortunately it had to go back, it didn't fit my handle bars- sad face

The first few uses of the basket were great, after a handful of uses the quality starts to degrade. I place roughly 15lbs in the basket each time, and now the bottom has began rubbing on my wheel. I've place the basket on the highest setting and it still rubs, where the plastic clasp to the ring it has loosened and now twists, thus causing the bottom to touch the wheel. I would not recommend this basket if you plan on using it for anything with weight.

I returned it, it doesn't work

El peso recomendado es para 5 kg. Las dimensiones correctas son 34 x 26 x 25 cm. La vamos a probar con nuestro perro y les decimos cómo nos funciona.

Funciona muy bien a mi perro le gusta ir adentro, se queda quieto y disfruta el paseo.
