Essential info before you buy...
There's no escaping that this is good value for money... but it's the kind of good value for money that you could compare to a 50p USB stick with only 100MB of storage on - i.e. Sure, you can't ignore the price, but what can you really achieve with such a limited size??Firstly, let's take a look at the dimensions. Whilst 9.6" seems close enough to the more common 12" size of most other acoustic panels on paper, you will quickly realise the short-fall when you actually start spraying adhesive on them, sticking them up and then seeing how tiny the wall coverage is...For example, if you wanted to line the vertical corner-edges of your walls with these, with a ceiling that's around 2.3 metres high, then you'd need roughly 9 1/2 foam panels to do so - but with only 16 panels in the pack this means you can only fully cover 1 corner - plus, you'd be trying to line-up 9 convoluted edges side-by-side, meaning the gaps in between each panel will be easily-visible.Ok, so it's instead quite probable that you only want to fix these to the 4 upper corners of your studio room... this is perfectly doable, but - again - the size of the traps in each corner will be so small that I highly doubt you will actually achieve anything. If you go for this product anyway, you can either use the kind of Y-shaped assembly position I have pictured for you (in which case you will have 2 full panels left-over) OR you could use 4 x full panels for each corner instead, extending the vertical coverage by 3 1/4" - which, in hindsight, I wish I had done instead. In closing, if this is the best option you can find in the price-range, then by all means, go for it - but given the amount of time it will take to measure, mount, position, spray and stick these panels up for minimal (at best) acoustic results, it may not be worth the effort...

Value for money but very small
These bass traps are VERY small. It’s my own fault for not reading the measurements on the description but you will need to place at least 4 of them in each corner. They’re ok for a small hole studio space but nothing more. Sadly they don’t work for me so I’ll have to purchase some larger bass traps.

Great value
Of course there will be better products out there, but for the price you can't fault these, it's made an immediate difference to noise bouncing around my studio. I personally used command strips intended for posters to place them onto the wall as they are the cheapest command strip option, and the foam is light enough to be able to be hung by two of the strips, it could probably be hung by just one but I'd rather have one attatched to each wall to keep it in the corner

Good value for money
Quite surprised - I was expecting the foam quality to be poor and the shape to not return but this appears to be very good foam. Shape returned quickly - foam is consistent and looks to be high quality.

Put them up with blutack as using them with a mobile recording setup! Made a huge difference to the room we are recording in!
