Original Waitstaff Organizer-Waiter/Waitress Server Book-Black Window

This was my best friend during my serving days. This help up pretty well during my two year run as a server. I did have to put the slit a little more in order to insert the check pads I used but it was fine. I put our business card in the front pocket and it was decorative. My favorite part is the coin pouch so that I always had everything I needed together versus my coworkers who kept a separate coin pouch. I was always asked where I bought this, I think what turned them off was the price of $20+ but for me it was worth it just to be organized-- took away from the initial stress of being a server. I definitely would recommend this and would probably purchase again if I waited tables.

So happy with this one. Perfect in every way. My wife is now a very happy waitress! Thanks very much for a quality product. A lot more than I can say for Beckett and all of their rip-offs. Whole other story.

Most of the other girls used checkbooks to hold all of the items they would typically need during a shift, but I purchased this to be a bit more organized working for 8 hours straight. It has a pocket for the notepad I used to write down orders and fit snugly so I never worried about it falling out. I put spare change and bills into the zip pouch and while it tended to get a bit heavy if I had too many coins, I just put the majority of the change I had elsewhere. While the card holder in the front was a bit snug, I didn't have too much use for it so I never payed any mind to it. And as for the assortment of pockets, I tended to put larger bills and guests credit cards so those items would never come loose while I was walking around. Overall it is definitely worth the purchase and a step up from just using the restaurant's extra check book, and provided a more sturdy home for all the items I had on me as I was serving.

I was seriously so unorganized as a new server, but then this came into my life and I got so much better at my job. It allowed me to keep my money in one spot, my closed checks in another, also a spot for the checks I hadn't had time to close yet. Overall, recommend it to any server!!!

I love this! I try not to buy things that I can't get through prime, but I really needed something sturdy and functional for work and this was perfect! All of my co-workers ask me about it. The only bad thing is that my guestchecks are too big. My work buys the larger/ sturdier guestchecks rather than the smaller, papery ones.

Sadly, I made the MISTAKE of purchasing two organizers from "TheHappyWaitress.com". This one (Original Waitstaff Organizer) and their Leather Original Waitstaff Organizer. I should have learned my lesson when this one broke, but I thought that I might have just received a defective one or something. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Both organizers BROKE after only a SHORT PERIOD of LIGHT USE. They were only used for about 20 hours a week for a few months and only to contain small/light items like credit card slips and sometimes a little change. I think it's important that I point out that they broke in a way that DOES NOT allow the product to still be used in the least bit. Instead, the BREAKAGE is MAJOR (which I have pictured) rendering the organizers UTTERLY USELESS. (BROKEN ZIPPERS, TORN SEAMS, etc.) It's like they're made out of tissue paper by infants. TheHappyWiatress.com's SHODDY PRODUCTS aren't the real reason for concern though. The main issue is that THE COMPANY LIES, is UNPROFESSIONAL, and DOESN'T CARE ABOUT PAYING CUSTOMERS. I contacted them in search of a replacement, to which they agreed, but no such replacement ever arrived. I never even received any additional correspondence after the inquiry. I've been WAITING for OVER A MONTH and still nothing. About a week ago, I sent them another email asking about the supposed replacement, but THEY HAVE JUST COMPLETELY IGNORED ME.

This works as advertised, but I'm going to be picky about just a couple things, since you're probably a discerning server if you're reading reviews for a waiter organizer. The "credit card" slot on the front is more useful for the business card of the place you work or something similar, it's such a tight fit that I can't see using it regularly to handle customer cards. It's also strangely placed (for me), it took me a few days to remember that "right-side-up" puts this slot at toward the bottom of the organizer. The zipper pouch (just inside the cover) is great for holding cash. It's mediocre for holding change, you're probably better off just keeping coins in your pocket instead of trying to A.) dig around all the corners of the pouch for stray coins, or B.) trying to position the organizer to dump everything out of the pouch. Other than those very minor gripes, this product is well worth the cost, and has been treating me very well for about 4 months now, with no breaking seams or threads.

Seriously this organizer is the best. It meets my needs in every way possible. The zipper is perfect for coins, there's two pockets for money to stay nice and tucked away, a flap to keep recipes and a holder for my order pad. It keeps me nice and organized!!
