Audio quality is awesome. Any issues are likely due to poor cell connection, not this unit.
I read several reviews that stated that audio was not up to par or that this unit did not perform well. Having held several conferences now using this speakerphone, I would like to offer my observations.Audio quality: The largest room I've used this so far seats about 60 people. The speakerphone was set near one end of the room and had no problem picking up the voices from anywhere within and attendees could hear the speakerphone from anywhere within the room.Ease of use: Simple process of binding and operation. The only issue I have noticed is that there isn't a good means of determining battery charge level.Battery use: I ran the speakerphone for over five hours without any issues. I'm not sure how much charge remained but it was still running strong. My cell phone that I was using was at about 70% remaining charge when I concluded the conference so I don't think there is a heavy power toll for using the speakerphone.Connectivity. During one of the conferences, I did have occasional sporadic cutouts for both directions of audio. I believe that this is the fault of the cell phone's connection to the tower and not a fault of the P710e. If your cell signal is poor, then the results will be poor. I cannot see how anyone could blame Logitech for that. With regards to the connection between phone and speakerphone, it was rock solid.Portability: This has a small footprint, is easily transportable, does not need power if properly charged and can be placed just about anywhere.Audience response: I had several people approach after the meeting to ask about this unit. They were impressed by its quality, performance and price. They ordered their own sets.I would recommend this item. Its small size and awesome performance make this a great purchase. I carry this to meetings that I am attending and have used it once to assist where the presenter was going to use a cell phone alone as the speaker phone (the hard line was down). This little guy helped tremendously.

Great Speakerphone for v1 - Expectations were met!
Love Love Love this Speakerphone! I was hesitant buying because I have tried MANY different units on the market, including units not designed for conference calls but marketed with "bluetooth support". I work from home office and also travel and needed a unit that is portable and can be used basically anywhere.Pros - Great size, good battery life for portable travel. Speaker quality is amazing for what it is, you still sound like a cell phone call, but it sounds REALLY good for a cell phone call. Obviously some DSP magic happening in the background to improve audio. Bluetooth connectivity has been rock solid and NFC connection is really nice to tap and connect.Cons - Microphone is in the front of the device so doesn't give you much "surround" sensitivity. You need to be in front of the mic to get good pick up. I don't mean sitting in front of with your mouth on top of it but I mean you can't be behind it and expect the caller to hear you really well. Touch buttons are really nice but I am slightly color blind and the green and red hangup call buttons could have some small text below them, also dont light up in dark room so you can't see the answer/end buttons at all, not a big deal.Asks for v2 - I would really like to see a full mic arrangement or at least a way adjust sensitivity on the microphone itself. I think better placement of the mic to be moved to top of device instead of lower right hand corner would be better (why is it where it is now? Kind of odd location). Two microphones would be better also vs single mic. Noise cancellation could be enhanced also.Overall - Great device for first release, I know Logitech will improve it. I have taken close to 40+ hours of calls in 2 weeks with this and had only one call where I needed to adjust my position for the caller to hear me better (sometimes I forget). So nice to drop my over the head headset!!!! Thanks Logitech!

I have amend my previous review
Just received today. The tone quality is excellent; clarity is excellent but I can also understand that is greatly dependent on the calling party's phone as well. I've only used this with my cell phone but it will plug into my desktop and can be used with Skype. All in all, I am very impressed. I don't yet know how long the battery will last but I imagine it should make it through a normal business day with no issue.UPDATE 2/15/19:I received this unit in mid-December and have used it daily since then. Initially all was well but in the last few days, battery life has plummeted and call quality has greatly degraded. Incoming voice is fine but outgoing people says I am breaking up. I quit using and went back to my Logitech H800 headsets and all is well so I do not believe this is a problem with my phone / bluetooth. The unit supposedly has a two year warranty so I'll be testing the ability to return to Logitech for some type of repair or replacement. But for now, I'd have to say don't buy. If the Amazon return window had not already have closed, I'd seek to return as defective.
