The overall product looks great, although the craftsmanship seems rushed and a lot of the light pieces have what looks like smudges from dirty hands and black and red paint here and there. Its all superficial and almost unnoticed but still worth keeping.

We absolutely love this set. Very sturdy. Beautiful detail to each piece.

Well painted set... it has an attractive finish, in between glossy and mate. Good detail and just the right weight for its size. Arrived intact.

These chess pieces look good, but are very lightweight and feel cheap. Also, my lighter colored pieces have some kind of coating on them, and they were not sprayed uniformly. This is very obvious when they are in use and set up next to each other. They are still decent chess prices, but not quite worth 113 dollars in my opinion.

Again, the House of Chess has made masterfully crafted intricately designed chess pieces. As good as the pictures look, they're even better when they arrive.
