Automotive Stripper (Quart - 32oz) Super Remover - Removes Paint from Metal - Clings to Vertical Surfaces

Bought this, tried it, and I am amazed. There is nothing better than this! I started sanding and sanding and sanding my tailgate. After 2 1/2 hours of sanding, I was beat. So I came inside and started googling. Found out about this stripper. Put in on the tailgate, waited 24 hours, came back the next day and the paint was basically falling off. No telling how many hours of labor I've saved by getting this stripper. Money well spent!I highly recommend this stripper.

It did not do the job, only took off the clear coat. Not a good paint stripper, if you have to sand before you put it on the piece. I would have given it zero stars, but it would not let me.

I purchased this to remove some paint from a metal footstool. And what I noticed about this automotive stripper is it definitely is fast acting 😃!!! It literally takes just several seconds after being applied for the paint and to loosen up and come off. Only thing is is that you have to scrub the paint off "simultaneously" as applying it!! Just like you would with using fingernail polish remover on your nails. So DO NOT let the remover sit first........and then try to scrub! It does not work well that way.Also as far as surface types, the remover works easiest on thinner paint surfaces, and requires a lot more scrubbing on thicker layered paint surfaces. Also the remover works great on smooth glass surfaces too. Either way regardless of the surface there’s some scrubbing required, but overall very nice product and results 👍🏽!!!!!

Works very well, used to strip powder coating off a set of BBS wheels I was refinishing, however be warned this stuff smells strong, even after washing it off my wheels it made my sandblasting cabinet smell like it.

I believed it would remove water based paint off a galvanized surface.... I believe now that this is obviously for removing oil based paints, like those used to paint vehicles....It didn't work for my application.I'm calling this MY fault, not the product's fault. Do yourselves a favor and try to KNOW if the paint you're removing is WATER or OIL based FIRST. Lol, that will help immensely ‼️

This stripper worked great on my vintage Vespa! One application and 85% of paint was bubbling off.

I bought this to strip the paint from a motorcycle tank and frame. It lifted the outer later of spray paint extremely well, but as soon as I got to the original paint the paint wouldn't budge. With the old automotive paint stripper products being regulated by the EPA these types of strippers with a much less toxic formula are all that remain.I ended up going with the nylon paint stripper disks and an angle grinder. It's loud but works much more quickly.If you absolutely must go with a chemical solution to strip the paint off your project, this will do the trick just not nearly as quickly as you want. I would also recommend getting the 128oz. You''ll end up using much more than you anticipated.

Easy to work with, use with caution and gloves. Please use outside, product worked great.
