I say SOLID because they are bigger than they appear and I didn't think to view measurements. However, it is possibly necessary to do their job properly. They have a tight grip so someone with weak hands or kids might not be able to squeeze them open, again probably necessary to do their job and last a long time. I really like them just wanted to list some things to think about for others.

We took these on our first cruise and they worked great keeping our towel in place. The ship had some high winds and any towels lost would incur a $25 fee. We also found them easier to spot our beach chair easier in the masses due to the bright colors. Only mark down I gave is they are large and can take up some precious luggage and pool bag space. Overall though I recommend as they are tough and easy to use.

These are great to put on the boat! We use them to hang up the beach towels after the kids get out of the water. By the time we dock, the towels are dry!We also use them when we go to the pool to anchor the towels to the lounge chairs.Very convenient. There are probably a lot more uses for these that I haven't even thought of yet!

I would highly recommend these towel clips. Great deal for the price. 8 clips in the pack. 4 bright colors. These clips are great. Very strong. Not cheap plastic. Kept the towels clipped to the chairs and the railing during high winds. Didn’t budge at all. They are pretty large and a bit awkward to pack in the suitcase but I made it work.

I loved that there were 8 in the package. I was able to share with the couple we were on vacation with and then I ordered a second pack and sent them to our friends.

These are super sturdy clips that open very wide for accommodate many chair types. The wire springs make them very durable. The clap very tight and hold towels or other wet items securely.

The clips have a strong grip and hold well. I use them on our pontoon boat for several things. I clip towels to the fabric bimini top and let the towels hang to provide shade, and the clips hold. I use them to hang wet swimsuits and wet shirts for drying in the sun. The clips are large, so packing a half dozen of them in a suitcase would take up considerable room. But around the house or on a boat/RV/camper where size isn't an issue, they are great.
