I washed it thoroughly and dried it . When I put the dough on the mat it stuck , I tried to re roll three times to no avail. I then placed the dough on my usual surface and had no problems. The roller has elastic type band to use as a gauge. When rolling if pressure is used the bands depress making the height (5mm) incorrect. The roller also has the measurements on the roller itself indented into the roller and I found the dough sticking to the roller at these points. I tried it twice but with no improvement. I have returned this item for a full refund as in my findings the items are not of an adequate quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for kneading and easy clean *by S***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 June 2020* Really pleased with my purchase. I've used it for pastry, biscuits, fondant and bread. I like how it has all these measurements on there so much easier when rolling to size. The rolling pin is light in weight and the sizing rings are fantastic! The mat is easy to wash and dry and it comes with (looks like a hair bobble) tie to keep your mat rolled up. Makes cleaning up a floured surface much easier as you just move it into the bin/sink in 1 go! I definitely reccomend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great mat for kneading bread dough *by L***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 January 2021* Just used the mat for the first time to knead dough on. Fantastic, it didn't stick to the mat, if anything my hands were covered in dough. The mat stayed perfectly in place whilst I knead the bread. Really saves using the natural wood worktops, always dubious that cleaning sticky dough off the worktop will ruin it. The mat came clean very easily with a soapy sponge. Dried with a teatowel and left to dry fully naturally.
