This was purchased as a gift for my granddaughter.The book is easy to read with plenty of illustrations and tips - hopefully she'll be able to develop her watercolour painting techniques and I must admit I feel quite motivated myself. Will probably join her!

This edition compared with the 2011 edition (ISBN 978-1844486496) has an additional 60 pages covering specific themes: The Animal World, Buildings, The Figure, Flowers, Landscape and Still Life. It loses a few sections from the Picture Making chapter and the presentation is slightly more compact.

The Encyclopaedia of Watercolour Techniques arrived promptly and in amazingly fantastic condition as promised. Really pleased with my purchase and have already gained som new ideas.
