Removes Rust on Bluing & Cleans Bores, 2-Pack

Interesting product. Removes rust and doesn’t affect blueing. Does what it pro-ports to due and I have no problem recommending.

I use this around my copper brush to scrub the inside of a gun barrel to remove powder and plastic. Works great.

I really can't believe I haven't heard of this product before. After I saw a guy on YouTube boast about this, I had to try it. And holy **** is it the best $7 I ever spent. This stuff will bring an old, rusty barrel back to life in a way I thought wasn't possible. Not only that, but you can use it to remove rust anywhere on your gun and it won't damage the finish, at least on blued guns. Now that I know about this stuff, I will never be caught without some on hand.

This stuff is amazing! My great grandfather’s shotgun had sat in a closet for years and had rust all over the barrel. It took some effort, but it removed most of the rust and none of the bluing. I’m proud to display it once again.

I just kept scrubbing and the rust just kept coming off. Finish looks closer to factory than it has in years. Wiping on a SMALL amount of gun oil and fully wiping it off between scrubs really accelerates the process. This one roll should last me a good while, as it should for you as well unless you're fully restoring multiple guns at once.

The product was recommended to me by another person. I received the product and tried it out on two antique rifles, an 1888 Springfield and a 1939 VZ24 Mauser. One bore was ok, and the other was dark. Both cleaned up to a remarkable degree. Shiny in the one rifle and very much improved in the other rifle. The test rifle types both have a history of using either corrosive powder or primers in their original ammunition. I was very impressed with the results; however, I think the product can be improved by designing a bore brush using this type of material as it is difficult to cut the pad into a proper size and attach it through the cleaning rod eye. I have heard of steel wool being used in a similar way to clean bores, this material looks like Titanium wool or something similar. No mention is made of using the product in application with water or a solvent to increase the capability. Overall, it is a recommended product.

I read about this material on a website where it was highly recommended. I had a lead build up problem in a pistol that was fairly new, the build up was persistent enough that I wrote an email to the manufacturer about it, but that's another story. Long boring story short, this stuff cleaned my barrel's bore perfectly. It really scours out all of the build up and left the bore almost perfect looking. The bore scope verified this and I have not had any lead fouling problems since! I too can recommend this material, just follow the instructions. Great value with excellent results!Old man Joe
