Works Great!
All parts separated and protected well in package. Assembled easily and am using it on my 2019 Rav4 hybrid. Bought the 4 bicycle supports kit designed for this rack and have taken the bikes to the beach without any issue. Did also buy a stabilizer for the hitch and unit is rock solid. So easy to place bikes into rack and they stand up without falling over while one puts the tie downs on. Then I tried putting my single ebike on the rack by itself between the regular bicycle supports and was able to load it on from the side. Pick up front, roll forward, pick up back. The ebike tires as well as the regular bike tires fit against the end support angle so no issue with 500 pound capacity of the rack. Also just leave rack on car as no interference with opening back hatch on car.

Easy assembly and stout enough
Hey, the price was right with free shipping for the 24x60" version. Yes, the packaging is poor, not nearly strong enough for the way the shippers toss stuff around. My box was all ripped up and taped. The nuts and bolts all broke out of the thin bag and were loose. I got lucky and all the parts were there. Funny, it had instructions for wheel chocks not the cargo tray, but it was easy enough to find them online. Assembly was a piece of cake and took about 15 minutes, 9/16 socket is all you need. Paint is just ok, but I did not expect it to be great for $80. It's very solid and will be used to carry 4-5 bikes on the front of my truck when pulling the fifth wheel. Just removed 1 star for the crappy packing job.

Great versatile solution
Easy enough to take on and off which makes it practical for occasional use.

Missing Hardware and one side of the Box
Arrived in a box that was 40% Tape and 60% Cardboard. Big red flag right away but it appeared to be the right shape, so -1 Star for packaging. Opened it up and other than the damaged box it appears all is well, all the parts are there, bag of hardware, instruction sheet that looks easy to follow, lets put the thing together. Well that's where it went wrong again, turns out the bag of hardware was open, bolts and nuts rolling all over inside the box, total of 2 bolts and 5 nuts missing. - Another Star for missing hardware. Not worth the hassle of returning it over $4 in hardware so I picked up the hardware that I needed at The Big Orange Box.Once I had all the Hardware the Carrier wasn't difficult to assemble, fairly clear instructions. This thing is pretty heavy and seems pretty sturdy. We purchased the Bicycle Carrier attachments with it to carry our bikes as well as have the ability to use it to transport other gear if we need to.All in all other than the packaging issues and the missing hardware this thing seems to be of good quality, I will probably hit it with a coat of paint because I don't know what kind of steel the bolts are made out of and there are a few minor scuffs in the factory paint from assembly, this thing is heavy, and I don't want it rusting out.

Solid!
Very solid item. I ended up returning it, because it didn't work for it's intended purpose. However, I can't say anything bad about the item. It seems of good quality and I'm certain it will work as intended.Since I did return it, I can't comment on longevity. However, based on my experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product.

Due to the weight of the carrier the box was pretty beaten up by the time it got to my ...
I normally don't write a review right after receiving an order, but I didn't want to forget the quirks about assembly before I put enough time on the product to warrant a real review.Package:It was shipped in the corrugated product packaging without any other box around it. Due to the weight of the carrier the box was pretty beaten up by the time it got to my door, and all of the hardware was rattling around inside. There were a couple of decent size openings in the box, but to my amazement all of the hardware was still there when I opened it. None of the pieces were scratched, or bent.Assembly: The instructions are basic, and the carrier is pretty simple to figure out. It would have been nice if they mentioned that the stitch plates on front and rear are not symmetrical, and have to be oriented the right way; otherwise you won't get more than two bolts in. I assembled mine with the nuts to the outside to maximize useable cargo space on the carrier. In all it took a little more than 15 minutes to assemble. I am a mechanic, and this sort of thing is second nature to me. My guess is that it could take up to twice as long for someone who is less confident. On the car: I put it on the back of our 2017 Subaru Forester and it sits a little closer to the car than other carriers I've seen which I like. While there is considerable play in the receiver, it goes away completel with an anti-rattle kit ( I picked one up on Amazon for $6).With a load: I loaded it with a "dummy load" and no matter what I put on it didn't seem to flex, or move. I still have yet to take it on a trip, but we'll be camping soon!I'll update after I've had it on a couple of trips. For now I'm happy with the carrier.

Bike rack not heavy duty at all. Flimsy!
Bought this to go out west. We have 2 bikes on it. Hubby has to buy hardware to make it home! Not very heavy duty. Disappointed. Would like a refund but past return deadline. Still out west with this flimsy rack! Gonna contact company!

Cheaply made product
You get what you pay for. Bought this as a temporary solution to carry a small mower, maybe 75 lbs. until I can buy a proper trailer. There are much better and higher quality hitch carriers available on the market. Bottom of it flexes and bends easily, though it says it can hold 500 lbs. Definitely would not chance it with that much weight. Does not fit hitch well, sways from side to side while driving. Not impressed and would not buy again.

Perfect for mountain bikes
This platform, with the bike adapters, is perfect for our mountain bikes. We have a travel cover for the bikes and it blocks the taillamps on our motorhome. To solve this problem there is room on the platform to mount a couple of magnetic taillamps. There are also holes in the platform to mount a licence plate.

good, large, heavy.
this is heavy, make sure you need such a big carriage. other than that, assembly went straightforward and at times difficult alone, but I guess there could have been easier ways. has holes to strap in, so think would be just great for my paramotor.

Weak Mesh
The assembly was fairly easy but the mesh is far too weak for adding the bike rack holders that were recommended as an add-on. Had to do major modifications in order to mount our bikes on this rack.

Good and strong
Works well on the back of my Rav 4. I carry a small trail bike on the back. Going to put a front hitch on my Toyota Tacoma to carry the same.
