Works for our uses, which is kids teeth brushing timers. Yes, they vary, but the title is novelty 2 minute timers, not precision 2 minute timers. If you want precise 2 minutes, get a stopwatch. However, whether the kids brush for a minute 45 or 2 minutes 15 doesn't really matter, it gives them something to watch. Great pack.

These worked well for the price. The only bad thing is that they come apart easily and my students like to take them apart. I fixed this by super gluing the ends on the timers.

Nice product. I needed timers to pass out to fellow workers. We needed to time out 2 minute intervals as Customer Service Representatives working on phones. The timers were the right price and the quality acceptable for our purposes. Unfortunately, the timers all timed out to between 2min 50sec to 3min 20sec, not two minutes as claimed. I think you should change the title to Three Minute Timers.

All but one timer was measuring to finish at 2 minutes (plus or minus a couple seconds). One timer was consistent at 1 min 55 sec. For my specific needs, the slight inaccuracy is unimportant. For the price, these timers are perfect.These timers are manufactured cheaply, but I'm OK with that. It is a glass hourglass with sand in a plastic tube and 2 plastic ends. Each timer is stable on its base and does not fall over easily. The pink, yellow, and green sand are bright and the blue sand is a darker shade. This helps with different colored counter tops. The products look exactly as pictured here. As advised, I wouldn't recommend these products given to children in general. The timers can easily be broken by rowdy children.

We wanted a bunch of these we could leave around the house or carry with us while out and about so we had a timer for time-out. I haven't timed each one that arrived to see if it was exactly two minutes or not, but I think they're close enough for our needs. What matters more is that our son knows he has to sit in time-out until the timer sand runs out, so he understands concretely how long he is in time-out. He actually likes playing with them at other times even though he knows they're for time-out. So far, none of them have broken or spilled sand, and we've been using them almost a year. I definitely recommend them for time-outs for kids if that's what you need.

I bought these for my kids to use as timers when they brush their teeth. They're about two minutes. If you're buying them for this purpose, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I haven't timed them to see if they're totally accurate because it's not essential for this purpose. They seem durable enough, but if a kid breaks one, there's always a backup.

Well, these mostly work, but none of them are accurate. Usually they're ok, but sometimes I flip one over and it stops partway through, or sometimes doesn't even start at all. I timed them all and found one or two that were within 20 seconds of the full 2 minutes. All are under or over. If you're just looking for a general idea of 2 minutes, not exact, then these should be fine to use. Just make sure when you flip it over that it actually starts going! Using two at once (since you do get a whole pack of 12!) might help, just in case one stops. Otherwise, just keep an eye out that it's still going and give it a light tap on top if it stops to get it going again.

Actually purchased these not as toys but as timers for my work at a call center. They are nice and a decent price but I was glad i checked the actual time on them as most all were closer to 3 minutes. Still work well as I know, thanks to timing, when 2 minutes is pretty close. Again if you are looking for pinpoint accuracy with no work on your part these are probably not ideal.
