Utopia Bedding Twin Duvet Insert, White, Comforter, 64 x 88 Inches

My fiance' and I both had king size duvets - mine from Ikea, down alternative, a few years old, and I'm not sure where his was from, but his was true goose down/feathers. After going away for the weekend to stay at a lovely vacation home, we got a bit spoiled with the comfortable bed and great linens there, so when we came home we decided it was time for a bed makeover. Since I love to research, I spent hours scouring Amazon for something that looked like it was actually a great comforter at a great price. This duvet is everything we wanted and more. Oh my GOSH...it is SO fluffy. SO soft. It's my marshmallow cloud comforter. The inside fill has a silky soft feeling to it when you press on it - it sort of slides in your hands when you touch it, like the fill has a light, silky feel to it Even when I sit on the end of the bed to do something, I can feel how comfortable it is to just even sit on. It makes our old duvets seem pathetic, like something you'd go camp with. This duvet is as nice as the bedding we had where we stayed in our vacation home. It feels like it has medium weight, but it's warm - quite warm for the weight. We keep it cool in our home at night so for us it's perfect. The material is so soft. We covered it immediately with a beautiful cover because we want to keep it in perfect condition. I also notice that even though both of our old duvets were king size, this one (also a king) just seems bigger. Our bed is a queen and the king size fits perfectly over it, it drapes over the sides just far enough. Also, my fiance' likes to roll up in his covers when he sleeps. He has plenty of room to do that without taking any of the duvet from my side. :) Verdict - it's amazing, I feel like a princess sleeping under this duvet. It's amazing for this price, amazing. All 3 of us give it 5 stars - me, fiance' and our cat who now won't get off of our bed. Someone mentioned that it doesn't have loops on the corners. That's true, it doesn't, but you can always sew those on if you want to. I found a kit for that on amazon too. But trust me, this comforter is worth sewing loops if you really want them. However, like others, we haven't found that the comforter moves or shifts in the duvet cover at all. It stays very well, better than any of my old comforters did, and I've had a few. Perhaps it's the loft that keeps it in place so well. I'll check back in after some time to let you know if if stays nice.

Pros: 1) Has held up well in the washer/dryer 2) lowest price I could find for down alternative comforters without a high return rate 3) My fur kids adore this brand vs similar big box store brands, especially my finicky cats. 4) Very soft Cons: None that I have experienced. I started searching and found Utopia after Target decided to raise the price on their down alternative comforters. This comforter is a light weight style that holds its own on laundry day, and isn't too heavy in our warm climate. It is great for a multi species household. Team Double Trouble loves it on their raised dog bed (amazon brand), Team Murder Mittens love it on their kitty city condos (available here on amazon) to sunbathe or bird watch, and I like it too as a hot sleeper. It really is a perfect all purpose comforter. 10/10 would buy again.

UPDATE: 9.16.23 Oh my goodness so I believe I said I would update in my vidya review & here I am!! Folks you truly never know what's effecting your sleep until well you find out right?!?! Well for me part of it is my blankets!!! Omgeez seriously ppl my blankets were so heavy and I have an injured shoulder so you combine that and welp...and so I slept w/the duvet last night, after I decided to keep it. I put it in the dryer w/3 tennis balls to fluff and then I put my duvet cover on it. AND OH MUH GOOD UH NESS!! I am not sure if I can truly convey just how wonderful of a night's sleep I got!! Keep in mind I live in SWFL & I'm right next to a beach & a swamp LITERALLY 1) I literally felt like I was sleeping in a soft fluffy cloud 2) It kept me surprisingly warm AND NOT HOT cept &this has nothin to do the duvet but my house gets humid and hot at around 6 am everyday &doesn't matter what I have on my bed I get hot! 3) It is virtually weightless!! Keeping in mind what I said in number 2, I was simply astonished at how lightweight this duvetvis EVEN WITH THE DUVET COVER ON!! And, with a severe shoulder injury I cannot even tell you how big of a deal this is! 4) DID I MENTION I FELT LIKE I WAS WRAPPED UP IN HEAVENLY PILLOWY YUMMY GOODNESS!: That's as best as I can describe! I came out and told my hubby v that I felt like, you never know what kind of weird prison you're in until you get out of it! I think it’s comfortable for the most part. I think I was looking for something different and didn’t read the description in its entirety before purchasing. There is nothing wrong with it, I imagine it will be perfect for those who want this kind of bedding. It’s not cooling at all, but it’s a nice white bedding with a small price tag

I purchased this comforter along with an inexpensive duvet cover, and I just really, really like it! For years I've been struggling with blankets. The struggle was especially onerus when the temperature really got cold. It seemed like a constant battle to keep the sheet and blankets organized enough for a peaceful sleep. I had experienced the use of a duvet many years ago on a trip to Prague, and I had really liked it. I finally decided that I had to revisit that experience on my own bed. That was definitely the right decision. No more struggling with blankets and sheet. Now it's just the sheet and duvet, and I am getting much more restful sleep. In the deep of winter my bedroom is 67 or 68 degrees, and with this duvet and cover I am as cozy as can be. Yes, it was a very good purchase.

Caldo, ma non caldissimo, non parliamo di un prodotto adatto a temperature rigidissime. Io ho il riscaldamento centralizzato per cui la mia camera non è mai freddissima, per cui avevo bisogno di un piumino che fosse una via di mezzo tra l'autunnale e l'invernale ed è proprio quello che ho trovato. Non do 5 stelle perchè al tatto il tessuto non mi sembra di grandissima qualità.
