I read so many great reviews and blog posts about this product
I read so many great reviews and blog posts about this product, and was so excited to use it. I regularly use a host of Japanese and Korean beauty products, having several dermatologists tell me that the products coming from there (and France, FYI) have so much research going into them and are high quality, effective products. My day-to-day routine contains Shisheido, DHC, SK-II, and Dr. Jart, just to name a few.So, my bottle of Natural Aqua Gel Cure arrived lickidy split (thanks, Amazon Prime...the best $100 a year you'll ever spend!). I didstep one of my cleansing ritual, starting with the oil first, then moved on to The Cure. It didn't feel as dramatic as some reviewers have suggested, but I'm pretty regular with my exfoliating, as well as monthly peels at my derm's office, so I figured maybe I didn't have too much old dead stuff to shed. I followed up with the rest of my routine, and turned in for the night. The next morning, I woke up to 3 really deep big ole sore, underground, hard-as-a-rock pimples along my chin. Lovely! I'm not even exaggerating when I say my profile has actually been temporarily altered as a result of this one particular huge, angry, alien "growth" on my chin. I am a fanatic about my skin, and even though I it is fair and somewhat sensitive, I very rarely get any breakouts, and even then, it's nothing that a smear of Clean and Clear spot treatment, a dab Mario Bedescu pink drying lotion, or one of those clear little acne-spot hydrocolloid patches can't zap overnight. On day three, with the spots in question getting bigger, redder, and way more sore, I headed to the dermatologist for a few shots of cortisone. While they are greatly diminished in size and pain intensity this morning, it will still be a good day or two more before they are actually flattened enough for a touch of concealer.Hope this helps someone else avoid this nasty little incident.** Don't use the Peter Thomas Roth Clear Absorbing Acne Invisible Dots, however. They don't stick and they don't work. Go with the ones from NexCare, or just buy blister care Band-Aids and cut them down to size. That's the fix!

HG daily exfoliator for those doing the Korean skincare routine!
For those of you who are skeptical if it's the product that is beading or your dead skin cells, do this: Use the product, rinse, and repeat. I did this and the second time there was no beading, so I'm going to hypothesize that it was indeed my skin cell that it exfoliated off. It's a very gentle exfoliator that can be used daily to get rid of dead skin cell and product residue. After hitting 30, I have become more concerned about my skin. I now do the Korean 10-step skincare regimen and have seen a great improvement in my skin's clarity, moisture, and appearance. This is the exfoliator in my regiment. I am a believer in this.

DO NOT BUY - FAKE AND HARD TO REMOVE
Please don’t buy this for you may receive a fake! This stuff gelled up on the little hairs on my face and WOULD NOT COME OFF. I scrubbed, used witch hazel and I mean I did this until my skin was RED. That stuff makes you think it’s dead skin but it’s just like glue! Very disappointed!

Amazing exfoliater! (Be warned that some of the photos show dead skin, if that grosses you out)
Before I had purchased this product, I had only ever heard of physical exfoliators, the rough ones that are like scrubs. Whenever I would use them, I would always manage to make my skin all irritated and red. So, I stopped using exfoliators because they would irritate my face too much. That was until I decided to try this product. Cure is a really great exfoliater that never irritates my skin and definitely remove dead skin and I always make sure to exfoliate 2x a week. This bottle has 1/3 of it left after using it 2x a week for a year! The bottle is about the length of my forearm and contains 250g of product. The product inside is a grayish whitish color and it's more like a gel that a liquid. It comes with a little plastic thing on the pump (DO NOT THROW IT AWAY!!) that stops it from pumping the product out if you accidentally bump it. It has a bit of a chemical smell, but what can you expect when it's a chemical exfoliater? I leave this on dry, clean skin for 3 to 4 minutes before rubbing it and then rinsing it off. It leaves your skin feeling smooth, squeaky clean and not oily at all! I know this helps with controlling my breakouts because once I went on a trip for a month or so and forgot to bring it along and got pimples all over my face! And no, my diet did not change significantly and I had all my usual skin care products along so there were no other factors that could've caused my break out. I know some of the top reviews say that it's a bad product, but it takes some time for your skin to get used to it and start to show some results. Although it's a bit expensive, I definitely recommend you try this product because it was like a life-changing product for me! I will most definitely repurchase this after I finish my current bottle!

Don't Fall for the Hype
I purchased this item after many months of research and reading many reviews. It may be the holy grail for many people, but this item just doesn't do much for my skin. I don't think it's the best exfoliating scrub out there; my St. Ives apricot exfoliating scrub would leave my combination skin feeling fresh. It may have been abrasive to the skin, but the pores on my nose were significantly smaller after using it compared to this product.People are amazed by the way it "melts the face" but I think this is just a gimmick. I followed the instructions and leave it on for a while before massaging the liquid and even though my feels fresh when I wash it off, I don't get the same effect I do with other exfoliating scrubs. My face may feel "cleaner" but it's probably because of the alcohol in the product that gives your face the squeaky clean feel, but after using this item for a month, I do NOT see any great results. I've been using it two to three times a week and nothing. Then again, this produce either does not work for my combination skin OR the item is a dupe. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, I would suggest getting the Juara Rice Facial Scrub for roughly the same price. You will definitely see a difference after a week.
