The Reliefband has been a lifesaver for me and allows me to fly in comfort. Plane landings used to be agony for me but I actually enjoy them now since I don't have to put all my effort into trying not to throw up.I've been using the product for years and just replaced one that I had purchased 15 years ago. Not too long after that purchase, the product was discontinued and when it was re-introduced, finding one with a replaceable battery was impossible. I'm grateful the one I had has lasted as long as it did. On my last trip I noticed that even at Level 5 the pulse was weak but it still was enough to get me through a bumpy landing. So, it was time to purchase a new one and I am pleased that I was able to find one with a replaceable battery here on Amazon.What I love about Reliefband is that I don't have to take a drug that's going to make me drowsy and those didn't work well for me anyway, since the cabin crew wants you to try to be awake and alert during landings. I can also turn it on/off as needed during a flight. The nausea relief is instant! I witnessed that first hand when I saw my sister dealing with post-surgery nausea. She had my band on and while it was working to a degree, nausea broke through, and she ran to the bathroom to go throw up. I grabbed her hand as she was kneeling at the toilet and cranked the band up to Level 5. She then stood up and looked at me in total amazement because the nausea was gone. Yeah, it was that fast. There were no other incidents for her after that.One thing I've learned from my own experience with this band is that once it's seated properly and the pulse/vibration is working I needed to be careful not to jostle the band or move my hand too much lest I lose that sweet spot. But that's a small price to pay for nausea relief. I did notice that the vibration plates on the back of the newer band are larger than the ones on my old one. So maybe that will allow for more movement.I'd also like to give a shout out to the company itself. I was supposed to receive an extra tube of conductivity gel with my order and that extra tube was missing. When I contacted the company about my order I received a reply from them within a few hours that stated they would send that extra tube out right away. It came within two days. So, I am a very satisfied customer.

The media could not be loaded. Iv had nausea so bad I couldn't even eat a ice cube without puking literally, this watch compares to anti nausea prescribed medication Iv taken. And can be used in tandem with medicationBattery lasts forever, Iv slept with it on at least 3 times, and used it dozens of times intermittently.It doesn't cure intense nausea but man can it take the edge off. Also Iv found the intense but not painful electric pulses are distracting and help a tad with anxiety or pain purely by distraction. If it hurts your not using contact gell right or it's in the wrong spot.It's strong enought to make fingers twitch or curl slightly but still not painful. Highest setting is 5 and I'll put a video on this reviewMy only complaint is the wristband on it is annoying to put on with one hand but it works

I never leave a bad review but this is a one. It worked great at first. When it was time to change the battery, I found it was almost impossible to do it right, if you're a common customer like me. Most of us are not experts to handle button batteries! The plastic battery holder is so easy to break! And this product can not be returned due to food safety( the gel touch your skin). If you want to spend $150 just for one trip, then you might be happy with it.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I’m here to tell you that this product really does work! I have severe motion sickness and have had it since I was a child. I feel the older I get, the worse it gets! I’m also a nurse. I have used every prescription anti nausea medicine there is. ( prescribed by my doctor). When I saw this Relief band was skeptical. So I asked an anesthesiologist that’s specializes in the nerves of the body , if this could possibly work. He explained to me that there actually is a trick that they use for postoperative patients, to apply pressure to the same nerve at the wrist to stop the patient from being nauseated due to anesthesia. So, I gave it a try!I used this band as directed for a 6 hour trip last weekend with NO vomiting or nausea AT ALL! And had the same results for the 6 hour drive home!Now, the band does emit a pulsating sensation through your hand to your fingers that my family did not like, saying it feels like a shock. I would not describe it as a shocking sensation. So if you feel that you would not be comfortable with this sensation, this might not be the product for you. To me, it’s worth it!!

This WORKS, but buyer beware!!EXPENSIVE for something that cannot be returned, but bought this as all other ways to combat morning sickness during pregnancy didn't seem to work. Even prescribed meds did nothing. With the gel application and proper placement on the wrist, within a few hours there was a very noticeable difference!! After 1-2 days, thinking all was good, as the electric pulse/shock was doing the job, it was also leaving a burn mark on wrist which continues to worsen each day. Terrible morning sickness versus burned skin and perhaps scar?? For now, rotate wrists and we'll see how it goes. Can't speak to durability just yet. Stay tuned...
