W Review: You get what you pay for - 1) normal 9 pin DIN cables do not fit. 2) the motion near the top of the range was not smooth. in addition, some of the product description is misleading. For example: 1) this is not a linear stage. Therefore, for one revolution of the stepper motor, the step size changes with height. This also means that the resolutions in the product description are practically useless. So, don't use this stage if you need a specific step size (unless you want to do the calibration yourself). 2) limit switches are not protective. What I mean is that when the limit switch is contacted, it does not stop the motor from running, it simply provides a signal that the motor should be stopped.
