Bought this product thinking it would be worth the money ...
Bought this product thinking it would be worth the money saved. after installing, it got rid of the SES for the MAF sensor but then started throwing codes for running lean. After driving around I started noticing my transmission failsafe (limp mode) come on. This makes it to where only higher gears are used making it very difficult to get up and go. At this point, I though I might have a bigger problem on my hands and after a lot of flustration and reading previous reviews for this product, I decided to put my old MAF sensor back in. This made the SES for MAF sensor come back on but I noticed after driving around for a while that it didn't throw anymore lean code and the trans failsafe never turned back on. This made me sure that this product caused bigger problems for my car. After looking closely at the wires for this sensor, I noticed that they were different than the OEM MAF sensor I already had installed. Idk if this is the reasoning for it not working properly, but I do know that this product is junk and for the extra prices, the Delphi brand is the way to go, whiles it still a fraction off the price that the auto parts stores charge.

Perfectly functional. It fixed my horrific idles for a fraction of the price of the OEM replacement. I knocked off a star because the fit into the airbox is pretty tight. I had to remove the airbox and really wrestle this sensor into the gasket, but it went in eventually for a tight seal. Other reviews mention that this can fix some automatic transmission errors. While I didn't purchase this for that reason I have had similar transmission faults. I'll be sure to update this if it fixes that problem too.

Cheap! You get what you pay for.
Bought this for my 2001 BMW Z3 2.5. It seemed to work fine for about a month. Then the car started running rough with lean codes and rough stalling st idle. Narrowed it down to this MAF being bad. Put in a new oem part and problem solved. There is a reason this one is cheap. Don't buy it.

Installed it yesterday and got a code on my dash. So i rest my car and it erased the code then the next morning i had to pull to the side of the highway because eml light as well as the engine light and started losing power.rest the car and cleared the dash then a mile later the same lights came back on so pulled over again and switched out the new mass air flow for the old one.

Fits my 2000 BMW Z3 2.8 perfectly
So far it works great, I have another part coming once it is installed I can test further. This part resolved my "no start" issue. The price is outstanding and it looks, acts and fits like the stock oem part. I would buy again!

Do not buy.
Worked for 3 months, then failed. Followed installation instructions, including moving the plug gasket ( not included ), and verifying it's condition. Do not buy. Save the headache and shell out for a real OEM part.

Great quality and price
Does its work for a fraction of the price over stealership or auto parts store. My 99 323i runs smoother now.
