Screw-in Ferrules for Pool Cues - 12mm

I got these to replace the old, broken tips of some cue sticks I had. I measured and they were precisely 12mm, so I ordered these tips... only to find out they won't slide onto my cue sticks because the *outside* is 12mm, but the *inside* measurement is closer to 8mm. Overall they seem to be great quality, and the area where you screw the tip in appears to be made of brass, but if you can't get them onto your cue sticks they won't do you any good :-PThree stars simply for the annoyance of not being clear in their description, which means these unfortunately will be going directly into the trash (the return fee for shipping is as much as the item cost in the first place).

Seating depth was slightly different than the fixed ferrule I removed from my graphite cue in order to install one of these screw-in ferrules. Since there are ten in the package, giving me spares to work with, I went ahead and shaved a quarter inch off my stick's stem in order to complete the installation.I've used the cue many times since installing the ferrule, and it's nice to be able to swap in a very soft or very hard screw-in tip whenever I like.

They do the job, excellent for a busy table. Just make sure you measure your cues accurately, these are 12mm.

These make changing tips easier and are solid built

I wish I would have paid more attention to the size, but never the less, I adapted all of the cue sticks in our youth room at church to use these because sometimes the tips get abused and need to be replaced more frequently. I love being able to just unscrew the old tip and screw on a new one.

Good item, just insure you have the right diameter pool cues. mine were a little smaller.
