I really liked this product it seems to work fine(detection an receiver sound worked just fine) and I like the small compact size of the receiver. It was easy to install and setup with no problems.However be sure of what you need before you order. I ordered the (option 1) with the one motion detector. After receiving the unit and testing it we quickly realized that we would need an additional motion detector to completely cover our deck area.I contacted the company to ask if we could add additional motion detectors to this receiver. We were told yes we could add additional detectors but they don't sell the separately.(how can I add additional detectors if i can't buy one)So I had to pack this unit back up and ship it back, then had to turn right around and order (option 2) which has 2 motion detectors.There were other products that I could have easily added to if and when needed without having to by a whole unit. However as I said we liked the small compact size. This company definitively needs to have a separate add-on option.Overall we like the product just didn't like the fact we had to pack-up, ship back then re-order.I would recommend this product just be sure of what you need before ordering.Good luck.Update 7-15-20....Had an issue with sensor not detecting movement no matter how close we were to the unit. Contacted the company and they immediately responded with concern about our issue. They quickly shipped out a new unit and now everything is now working normally again. This was just the solution I needed to keep my hungry cat from jumping up on the kitchen counter.I made the mistake of leaving some butter on the kitchen counter, which he found and started licking on every night for about a week. By the time I discovered this, he had been rewarded for his prowess for too long, and no amount of scolding could keep him on the floor.But this motion sensor did just what I needed. I angled it to catch him on the counter, but not me while I am cooking. It has over thirty sounds and four volume levels from which to choose. So I set it for the the most obnoxious sound at the highest volume. I've had no false positives, and I always hear his paws thud on the floor a second after the alert goes off.

Does the job range is not that great, So far this product has been working pretty good I’m using it to monitor my driveway. The only thing I don’t like is that you have to be fairly close for it to operate properly. The instructions are not that great there are a lot of different alerts to choose from. But mannual doesn’t really tell you how to change it. I see the range is about 20 feet Max. Installation is extremely easy.

I got this so I would know when my dad got out of bed. It works great and better than another sensor that came with a pager. The only negative about this product is the directions for programming in your preferred melody, they suck. I went to the Q&A section for the product to see if anyone was having issues programming a melody like I was and the sell responded with instructions that worked first time I tried them. Here they are:1.Choose the melody you want2.Press the "Melody"+"Volume" Buttons together for 3s on H72023. Shake the transmitter H5024 to your hand to check if you have changed it or not.

With touchless delivery these days, food or other items get left at the door with no knock or a ring of the doorbell. Problem solved with this Govee Motion Sensor Alarm that could not have been easier to install! The sensor is super light weight so one screw in the mount was more than sufficient. I installed the motion sensor under the eaves on our front porch (because the unit is not waterproof). The ringer plugs into a wall outlet and has excellent volume selection and enough tunes to rival my iPod playlist. We have security cameras but wanted something to alert us to somebody dropping something off on the porch. The outdoor temperature has been in the nineties and I was afraid it would not detect body heat, but the unit works perfectly and does not go off if a cat or similar-sized dog wanders onto the porch. This item does exactly what we needed it for!

Bought to hang in a hallway to detect when one of my kids was sneaking out of their room. We already have a door sensor for night time, but a motion detector made sense during the day. Unfortunately, I could find no location in my hallway where this thing would work - usually it wouldn't detect me walking through the hallway, but normally it would just start going off non-stop, actually interrupting itself to go off again, when no one was in the hallway.Fine - maybe the close confines of the hallway mess with it. I didn't have much time to play with it, so I just forgot about it for a few weeks. I decided today to try it in the garage as I have a security system and cameras on the exterior of the house, but not in the garage. On the upside, a garage with no one in it set off fewer false alarms. On the downside - still craploads of false alarms and still didn't detect me when I walked through a few minutes ago taking out the recyclables.Maybe it's designed only for long distance detection? If so, my entire property isn't 300 feet long, so it's of no use to me.Was hoping this would solve a problem for me, but was just an exercise in frustration.

Very accurate.The sensor and receiver unit was placed about 35-40ft apart with 2 walls in between, and the response time was slightly delayed for about 0.6 second which is very acceptable at the price it carries.However, we did notice a slightly longer delay with signal interference(TV remote, WiFi, Bluetooth path, microwave, etc), so make sure the path between the receiver and sensor is free of signal-transmitting appliances.LED lighting is bright even under daylight, and you won’t miss the ringtone even at normal volume.Would recommend this set for household detection.
