Cardone 66-5134 New CV Axle

Sure it gets a 5 star rating because it works but for my application it probably won't last. I go trailing all the time so this CV will not last if I flex at full drop. It binds already when I installed it on my truck with no turn angle Though for most 4x4 Tacoma/4Runner that rarely do any off road but may need it for winter travel or for lose trails this will do.

Product was just put in a box with no protectionBoth axels I purchased had dents in them. These dents cause the axel to not properly sit in the spindle.Big headache and time wasted . On a side note the metal is thick so my item had to have been dropped pretty hardWill update on how they last

Perfect fit OEM quality no question. Same size bolt as stock axles 35mm and like mentioned perfect replacement. Strength upgrade no idea only trails my rig see are logging roads and highways however if you need a replacement at a fraction of the cost look no further. Fits my 97 4runner perefect and only took an hour to replace. Will buy for other side when needed from same seller. Only gripe is shipping two day took 4days but I blame amazon for that

I am slow when it comes to negative reviews, but I need to give this one low scores. First, the CV axle came and when I opened it up it was damaged on the outer boot rim (refer to pic). Next, I went through the Amazon return process which went fine. I was thinking it was just one of those things that happens... but when I went to reorder the CV axle the price jumped from 48.99 to 79.00. Not sure if I got suckered on this one, but needless to say I was disappointed. I guess I need to just go to the big box part stores for items like this.

Works great, I have about 750 miles on it so far, no noise, feels smoother than the original axle when driving. Took about 1.5 hours to install, old axle prys out easily with a crowbar and new axle snaps into differential with a few taps from a rubber mallet.Only had to remove axle nut and lower ball joint for access. 04 Tacoma 4x4.

Installed on my 1999 4runner. Easy install, perfect fit seem like a good quality and have a lifetime warranty according to the Cardone website. Can't beat the price. Have had them on for a few months. no issues yet

Came damaged and missing nut/cotter pin. The dust shields on both sides of the axle had a total of 6 dents. Could probably straighten them out but shouldn't have to on a new axle.

Perfect fit. Exact size of oem parts. Packaging was ok. Smooth install and seem well built. Will update if something goes wrong.
