LASCO 17-0911 1/4-Inch Hard Plastic Tube Sleeve and Insert Kit, 4-Piece

If you are hooking up a plastic refrigerator hose, you will need more than just a compression fitting. I combined this part with the Watts LFA154 Female Compression fitting, which is also sold here on Amazon, to hook my refrigerator's plastic tubing up to a pre-existing pipe valve. Using only a metal compression fitting will crimp the plastic, and that will cause a leak. Replace the metal sleeve with this part, and use the plastic insert tube along with it, to prevent that from happening.

This is a high-quality adapter for using 1/4 inch plastic tubing with compression fittings as, for example, to hook up a refrigerator ice maker or the like. Two sleeves and two plastic fittings at provided - one for each end of the tube.

A great price on this product compared to the local big box stores & for an add-on item it shipped very fast! I would buy again if needed.
