Easy assembly. Light quality was perfect, it was shiny and bright and helped guide the sleigh. Great addition to my lead reindeer. Timer worked great with my other Christmas decorations.

Love these Christmas balls! I have several of these to hang outdoors, and some are at least 3 years old - still working perfectly. So simple - they turn themselves on at dusk and off a few hours later - no fuss.

I wanted to add some color to our outdoor lighting along our eaves. We have icicle lights and I thought these lights would be pretty hanging among the strands. The icicle lights, however, put out way too much light for the balls to work the way they are intended. Some of them will activate and come on as intended, but they are too subtle compared to the bright icicle lights, especially since our house sets back a good ways from the street. We did figure out a solution, but haven't taken time yet to remedy that issue. As you can see in the photo of the single green ball, if the balls are hung further down, they will work as intended and also show up a bit better. So we will extend the length of the hangers using small chain or cord and that will hopefully help them to work well and be seen. Of course then they will probably move around a lot more in the wind. (I included a video of them all lighted, without the icicle lights turned on.) The balls are as described and the green ones are really pretty. The red ones don't seem to emit as much light as the green ones and are a lot more subtle. I really wish they were brighter. Also, with the size of the balls, a display would ideally use many of the lights, but that would be very cost-prohibitive. I felt a bit guilty spending as much as I did for eleven of the balls, and I still feel like the display really needs more of them to look right. All in all, a pretty addition to our Christmas lights, but not as bright or dramatic as I had hoped they would be.

Beautiful outdoor LED lighted globes! These are probably used more for Christmas but I bought them for luminaries on my porch for summer. They are well made, thick strong plastic globe with gold top that unscrews from globe to place batteries (3x AA). They function exactly as described and uniformly with each other. I bought four in different colours and they function identically. They slowly dim to very low then with one quick burst they pulse to full brightness, then repeat the cycle. Very pretty and festive at any time of year. They come with well written, clear instructions. Not that you need them but I thought I'd mention since that's so often not the case. They come on when dark and display for 8hrs and shut off. There's no settings, buttons or switches, once you place batteries in the globes are ready to work on their own. I recommend and will be buying more now! They say you should get about 45 days use out of fresh batteries so I will have to wait and see, I can't comment on that now. Knowing LED lights and modern circuitry I wouldn't be surprised if they easily last 45 days on a set of batteries, if not longer, based on other similarly made items I own. These are very pretty!

This item is lovely. It’s large, therefore, if you’re looking for something small or medium, this is not the size for you. The globe is beautiful, perfect for a tree that’s 9” are more.

Seller charged me a delivery charge to send item back. Item arrived too late. They denied me on my refund request to have the delivery charge be credited back to me. Amazon pulled through and refunded the charge. This item was not easy to use either. Once we finally received the item, we tried placing batteries in it. It was very difficult to get the batteries in and out of it.

This product is decent. I originally bought it in white and two other colors. While the white "globes" are cute enough, I thought they were cuter during the day than when illuminated at night, unfortunately, which defeats the purpose of the product. Because of this, I brought them inside after one night because the light itself was a little too "LED-y" compared to our other outdoor lights, and the difference in light intensity between the three colors was too much. I.e. the white globe was VERY bright, whereas the gold globes were very dim. However, someone else may like them as is. So, I thought *maybe* they'd look alright as indoor decor. This was before I realized how challenging it was to replace the batteries. Due to the design of the product, the batteries were quite "snug", and I chipped a few nails when trying to take out the batteries. (I have small fingers, so finger size wasn't an issue). While this is probably helpful to prevent the batteries from getting knocked out if the product fell and hit the ground or something, it wasn't helpful in terms of user friendliness. After one round of switching out batteries I realized that these unfortunately weren't going to work for me. I realized that the batteries were *slightly* easier to remove if you found the one battery that was placed in the opposite direction compared to the others and jimmied out one of the other ones before pushing out the remainders. As a pro tip I'd recommend putting in the batteries and then immediately trying to take them out to see how easy it is for you. Maybe you'll have better luck. In sum: if you have strong nails, and are only getting the white LED globes, and you like very bright white LED lights as part of your christmas decor (some people don't!), then this product is probably fine... if you're willing to pay $11.90 per globe. If you are thinking of getting other colors, then I'd recommend looking at them at night as soon as possible to see if you truly like the quality of light. These feel more like general "celebratory" decor and not necessarily Christmas decor, IMO.

I had seem a similar ball like this on someone's mailbox last year in red & liked it. I got it in silver as that is my husband's favorite color. The color is applied so it looks slightly frosted at the top. Make of plastic, it was safe to hang outside. Looked good hanging from my mailbox. Light pulses gently & while not bright, the glow is pleasant & easily seen. It survived a night of rain but I did take it in when we got gusty winds to protect it. Nice that it is battery operated so no need to run a long power cord out to the mailbox. My only wish is that it came in a slightly bigger size.
