Works great to extend my mowers cutting time. I cut more than 1 lawn at a time so needed more run time.

Highly reliable battery. Crazy powerful. Moves upwards of 5 plus inches of heavy snow. Capable of clearing driveway and wheelchair ramp as well as path across deck to back door without recharging. Yet when depleted recharges in under 2 hours (more like 1 hour but I've not really timed it). It is so fast that I'm surprised when compared with my other rechargeable systems. 8-30-18. No change in previous but some additional comments. Look no further than Greenworks yard equipment and batteries. I am 100% satisfied with their selection and the quality of workmanship. Love the batteries - more power for mowing but limited endurance (takes more than one battery to cut one yard of approx 2,900 sq ft.) but then again I'm cheap and can only afford a 2AH version of this powerhouse. When the snow returns this battery will out perform oil and gas all day long.

Now with two batteries I can blow my lng driveway without waiting for a recharge

UPDATE 7/25/2020 - Greenworks sent me a replacement battery. It took some persistence to get a response, but I appreciate them doing the right thing. Good products, good company. Thank you. I have been a fan of Greenworks for years and have purchased many of their products including string trimmers, edger, chainsaw, blower, hedge trimmer, and a snowthrower. I purchased the Greenworks PRO 80 V battery along with charger and string trimmer last year. I used it a couple times last year and it worked great. However, when I tried to use it this Spring, the battery would not charge (the charger blinks green for a couple seconds and it seems to begin charging, but then switches to red and will not charge). I contacted Greenworks back in May, explained the situation, and asked that they replace the batters. I received a reply a couple days later saying they had received my message and my request would be reviewed by their support staff. They noted in the reply that it may take "longer than usual" due to COVID. Well that was in May. Now it's halfway through July and I've heard NOTHING, even after sending them additional follow up emails. This is extremely disappointing, especially after how loyal I've been to them. I will not be buying any more Greenworks products.

I decided a couple of years ago that I was tired with messing around with gas-powered chain saws - mixing the gas, adjusting the carburetor for high altitude and then dealing with the smoke and the noise and the fact that they can be quite finicky. I graduated to battery-powered chainsaws and have no intention of going back. Sure, the battery only lasts about 15 minutes but I have a couple of spares. If you are cutting wood for a living this won't be your answer. But, if you just cut wood for some heating and clearing out dead-fall this is the way to go.

I can only hope that you read this review there is a very old saying it's called The real McCoy that is exactly what this Green works battery is The real McCoy in other words the real thing I always read reviews but I bought one of those knockoff batteries that says it is 3.0 identical to this one let me tell you it's less money don't waste your money on that get this one I've had to return two of them things this is the battery you want to buy them other ones quit at 50 to 60% I've tested them both I am so impressed with this battery I bought two more for backups even the weight of this it is heavier than the knockoff battery yes this one is a few dollars more but it is worth getting extra 15 minutes of runtime it also is heavier in weight than the knockoff one that says it's designed for greenworks tools spend the extra money trust me get this one be very careful when you purchase one of these a lot of them knockoffs look a lot like this one be sure you get the Green works battery check the spelling sometimes the spelling will be off on the counterfeit battery to make it look like this one read all the customer reviews also that is very important I give this battery five stars if I could I would give it 10 Stars

Arrived on time and produced worked appropriately

We have 3 of these GreenWorks 80V 2.0AH batteries - along with 3 chargers. We use them on several different GreenWorks 80V tools. They are powerful, hold lots of charge and are quick to recharge. Most of my own experience with the batteries is using them to power the Greenworks 18" 80V chainsaw. That really gives the batteries a workout, especially when cutting through 12" diameter or larger hardwoods. I don't get the claimed 150 cuts per battery charge like the company claims, but I do get around 30 or 40-minutes use before switching to another battery. These batteries aren't exactly inexpensive, but compared to similar products from Stihl and Husqvarna, they are a real bargain. I've only been using the GreenWorks batteries for a few months but they are warrantied for 2-years and the company will replace them if they fail within that time. As far as I'm concerned, if they last at least 2 years (the company claims a 2000 charge cycle lifespan), I'll be satisfied. It's worth it just to get away from all the noise, pollution, fuel mixing, carburetor and plug maintenance that's associated with gas powered yard tools.

original product quality. Well priced for expected life of this battery. Bought as an extra battery for convenience and backup.

it's great, works perfectly

Never going with gas mowers again! Battery runs great off a full charge. Left one in the garage over the winter and it was still over 75% when I pulled it out for the spring.

The battery is fine I think - what do you judge it on. It either works or it doesn't. It seems to do its job. Leaf blower seems to tax it though. ( I don't know if it is my leaf blower or this battery, but, the blower just shuts down after 5 or 10 minutes of use. click. nothing, if i come back to it in an hour it will work. But intermittently, on for a few minutes. off. on. off. so frustrating. I think its the blower - And it is the only greenworks product I've ever had issues with and I have a bunch.)

Worked very well with the Greenworks snow blower. Bought it so I don’t have to wait for the first battery to charge in order to continue clearing snow (long driveway and large parking area). Has worked as intended but one thing to note is it fits ever so slightly tighter than the original battery w/ snow blower so it’s always a bit of a chore to swap it out of the machine. Patience is key.
