Best shoes for being on your feet all day!
Love love love these shoes! I work 10-12 hours at a veterinary clinic and I'm on my feet most of the day and these are my second pair of these shoes! My last pair I had for about 2 years and then they started coming apart and it was time for a new pair as I wear them almost everyday! They are the best fitting shoes and are comfortable from the first day and get even better day after day!!

Very poor quality. Non-Skid sole separate suddenly making them very dangerous in work situations.
Wife works part time as a food server for a major steakhouse chain. She purchased these for work. The non-skid soles separated on both shoes in just six months.Just to give frame of reference. My wife has several pairs of Dansko shoes, the oldest pair being nearly 15 years old and all of them are perfectly good condition. She only bought the Alegria shoes hoping that they would be more comfortable than the Danskos.Update: After a very lengthy and consumer unfriendly process which cost us near $20 to ship the defective shoes back for evaluation, Alegria did replace the shoes. But unfortunately the soles on the replacement shoes have separated in only two months. The Alegria "Returns Specialist" instructs that we need to follow that process once again and pay another $20 for return shipping. We're done with Alegria and will instead take the lesson and throw away the shoes. Probably good indication of a product quality issue when you need a staff of "Return Specialists".

Absolutely do not recommend!!!
Received these shoes & was a little disappointed, the color is Much more muted than the picture, closer to a less boring black, but I got over that. They are comfortable and force me to stand up straighter. I would absolutely not recommend buying these though because after wearing them for only 5 shifts, the color on the toes of both shoes has rubbed and completely peeled off making them look awful and very unprofessional. (the previous shoes I wore for over 3 years and still do not look as worn!!) Very disappointed, especially with the price I paid for these shoes.

6 months of wear
In the first week, this shoe completely eliminated my foot pain. AWESOME. Like many other reviewers, the insole began to squeak, but I followed their advice and a dash of talcum powder fixed it. After about 5 months of wear for 4 hours every weekday, the soles had worn enough to squeak badly on tile and linoleum. The heel does move freely. This shoe feels a little strange to walk in because of that, and it does rub. Apparently it rubs enough that, after just 6 months, the heel padding is tearing off. The heels rub enough that they're now leaving sores and I have to replace the shoes. If these shoes had been $20 I would call this a good lifespan. If they'd been 50 I would accept it. They were over a hundred and I am deeply disappointed.

Thought I was sent the wrong shoe, picture is very misleading.
I have purchased Alegria's in the past and have not been disappointed. However, the picture that you see here is not at all what you get. I actually thought I was sent the wrong shoe because the picture is so misleading. I rarely have issues with Amazon so I searched the show very thoroughly and found HALF of one flower. I was sent the correct shoe, but the shoes are just hideous. You're getting this greenish, ugly splotchy pattern. Not a purple, flower pattern.Functionally Alegria makes comfy shoes. As a nurse, I love the brand. This pattern/picture, needs a more truthful representation.

Better support for my bunions. Could be better at moisture wicking.
I work in a very busy ER for 12+ hours at least 3 times a week if not more. First time trying this brand. I have always worn Dansko, which kill my bunions but help support other areas of my feet and back. I like the fit and feel of Alegria much better however my only complaint is the fact that my feet sweat terribly in this shoe brand so now I just use foot spray everyday. Less bunion pain. I will say Dansko was better at absorbing sweat and odor, just from personal wearing experience. For my feet I just feel the Algeria gives me better support. I do feel the fit was just slightly under expected (9) so I also ordered a size up (10) which gives my toes a bit more room length wise.

Great shoe
Usually wear a 8-8.5 and I got a 38. It is somewhat tight on the top so I’ll have to be sure to wear thin socks or compression stockings. I bought these to wear to work as I am a RN. They felt great and my legs didn’t feel as tired as usual. BUT within the first day of wearing them a got a scuff mark! I really wasn’t doing anything crazy. A bit disappointed that it was so easy to get scuffed. I’ll keep them though because I got them on sale and I don’t mind the scuff marks but just a little disappointed since they are not cheap shoes! But other than that I love the brand and quality. Much better than Danskos! These are lighter weight, great arch support and cushioned with my foot.

Good slip-ons
Love my Alegrias, I have 5 pair. My only problem is that one foot is just a bit longer than the other, so one shoe is always a little bit tighter. I wish they made an 11 1/2 (42.5), that's really what I am. The 11s (42) are tight on one foot, and the 12s (43) are too sloppy once they stretch out. But they are always well made and comfortable. I also love the Professional line, they are slip resistant and if you work on a tile floor, you can really tell the difference between the Professional and the regular shoes.
