I purchased this kit as my own first "real" cross-stitch project. The instructions are clear and understandable even to a novice, and the result is a beautiful and easily framed piece.When preparing the finished piece for framing/mounting, I strongly suggest using a light towel between the fabric and the iron, as it is sensitive to the heat and can burn easily.The bride and groom told me it was their favourite gift!

Like some other people, I swapped out the colors for the wedding colors, so I don’t know how much floss I would have had left over. But for the colors I did use, I didn’t use more than one skein each.Since the piece isn’t very big, it didn’t take that long to complete. The included pattern was easy to follow, so that was good, and it was nice that letters and numbers were included for the names and date.

Love the pattern, seems easy for an advance beginner, can't wait to start it.

I unfortunately "assumed" the main part was the "traditional" 2 strand stitch that most others kits I have done were. After realizing it was only supposed to be 1 strand it was too late to start over, and as a result needed more floss. Still beautiful.

The first one I ordered it never showed up. I was able to get my refund and I tried again and the second one came. So all is well but it did take longer to get it due to the first one mot coming.

I found the symbols a little difficult to follow. I have run out of the main color around the outer edge due to getting confused on the symbol. I saw that it used 3 strands but only a half stitch 😔 . I left a message with the company because their thread is their own. I would like to purchase more of the thread to finish this for a wedding gift. Waiting to see if I get a response 😐 I hope I do soon... Time is slipping away.

I didn't use the cloth or string provided, (I wanted to make it with their wedding colors), but the pattern was great.This was my second cross stitch and the first time I had to actually count (my first project was stamped on the cloth). I found it fun and very easy to understand. It turned out fantastic and I still have the cloth/thread to make another!

I was looking for a simple and personalized gift for a friend's wedding, and this cross-stitch was perfect. The outer pink border is actually all half stitches (with 3 threads), so it took no time at all to complete. Directions are clear and simple, and they provide you with template letters and numbers for customizing the cross-stitch at the bottom.The one problem I had was that they did not provide enough silver thread, but I just substituted some of the extra gray thread from the kit, and it worked out just fine.

I learnt a new name for a stitch I had done for a while. I found the pattern easy to stitch . It looked great when it was finished and framed. The instructions were very helpful..

The design and thread were really good my only problem at first was the same symbol was used for two different colours across the design, but I got over it.
