This was the second iPad replacement I’ve done. First one was a bit more complicated, this one was better (I now know how to). I didn’t realized until I was peeling off the plastic that it came a bit broken. I’m still keeping it because I was literally done and did not want to wait until a replacement, also it was my fault I should’ve checked. Other than that the tablet is working perfectly fine, better than the first one I fixed lol.

I am not a professional screen expert!!! I am a dad who was willing to give up a few hours and some stress to repair my sons Ipad. This product was easy to use, I accomplished the repair in 4 hours and it looks amazing now!!! Some of my friends want me to fix their screens now... The only complaint was the adhesive, one area of the Ipad needs a little more glue, but you can't even notice it. Amazing what some time and effort can get you in today's world. If you are thinking about buying this product get the glue as well and be ready for a small amount of stress while repairing, and you should be fine. 5 stars!!!

The screen works fine. It was fairly easy to install as someone that doesn’t generally repair their own technology, and the tools that are included were super helpful in the process (I didn’t need any extra tools). My only gripe is about the adhesive. The screen will not stick as the adhesive was extremely weak which was a little disappointing, but I’m sure I can find a way to get it to stick myself. I’m truthfully just ecstatic that I was able to do this myself (and also with the help of YouTube)! You can definitely do this yourself, just be careful when removing your broken screen.

this item has good quality, my replacement was very easy and my iPad got a second life.

I am so disappointed and frustrated with this product. I got the broken screen off, but the tools they provide are WORTHLESS. I needed a razor blade, which matters when you think you have everything and start messing with it. Then the screwdrivers provided did not work. In the middle of the repair I had to leave and go to Ace Hardware and spend $20 on a cell phone repair kit to get a 00philips and 000 Phillips that actually work. The first set of screws to remove the LCD was hard enough to remove with the provided screwdriver. However, when attempting to take off the LCD plate screws with the other screwdriver provided, it wouldn't catch the screw at all. It's like it didnt fit into the screw. I tried the other screw driver, nope. I asked others in the home to confirm I wasn't just being dumb. The screwdrivers dont work. So in the middle of the repair I had to go buy new ones in a kit for an extra $20. Then, when putting the new screen/digitizer on, I noticed that almost the entire screen was a dead zone. The bottom works and that's it. I took it to an Ipad repair shop to confirm I didn't do it wrong. I didn't. The screen is defective. Also, when installing my own home button the pre glued adhesive on the screen wasn't even strong enough to hold down the cable (the super tiny cable that is like paper thin and weighs nothing) to the new screen. If the glass adhesive couldn't hold down the home button cable it most certainly wouldn't have stayed glued to the tablet base. All around terrible product. I returned everything. Don't buy a screen from here. That was so frustrating and disheartening. I got as far as completion and I cant complete it. Wow.

Ribbon cable was really thick and stiff making it hard to tuck into the ipad. Once installed, the right most edge wasn’t responding to any input. While not a complete deal breaker, it makes using ipad difficult when i need to do certain things.You get what you pay for i guess and this is a fairly cheap screen

The size and specification were correct. The item description was accurate, as the received product worked well with my iPad model. Installation of a screen digitizer is tricky, and this one is no exception. Have a heat gun ready and lots of patience. I can't believe the price. Instead of having to buy a new $300-400 iPad, I can continue using my slightly older iPad for a few tens of dollars.
