Two Farmers Crisps, Salt & Cider Vinegar Hand Cooked Crisps, Vegan and Vegetarian, Gluten Free, 100% Compostable Bags, 24 x 40g

I saw these on a BBC programme and thought that I’d give them a try as Kettle Chips are not what they were any more! These certainly didn’t disappoint. The flavour from the home grown cider apple vinegar was beautiful and the texture of the crisps was just as I like them. My husband and son who seldom show a preference both loved them and asked where they came from! The bag is also fully compostable and they are local to us just up the road from Cardiff in Herefordshire. This product deserves to do well as the Two Farmers in the title found a way to diversify and sustain their farms. Love them!!!

I expected the crisps to be in a biodegradable bag but I was disappointed. I expected the contents to be made from the pick of the crop but the excessive number of small crisps suggested otherwise. The crisps were as tasty as crisps usually are but the added salt was better that found in rival products. It is also strange for them to be called 'hand cooked' when they were made by a continuous process, rather than in separate small batches. Overall, quite good and tasty.

I bought a packet of these from the supermarket, and I can tell you they were the best crisps I’ve ever tasted. So I thought I would do a bulk buy from Amazon. Unfortunately every packet opened thus far have been on the soft side ... they’re not out of date so I’m at a loss to know why ?

First they are great crisps but they have an after taste ,I get this taste when I overuse my deep fat fryer.need to change the oil more often. .Also the plastic free packets are brilliant but you need scissors to open the packets.and my kids don’t have scissors in their lunch boxes.I have purchased all flavours now,and it’s only the plain salted that have an after taste.

We saw the program on two farmers crisps and decided to support our farmersWe didn’t mean to but we have eaten two boxes of these crisps!!! Cheese and onion very very tasty lovely cheese ..slightly salted not greasy very moorish !! Love the packet no plastic feels like great quality Easy to open. Going to order more !

We are very lucky in Herefordshire that we have lots of potatoes and Two Farmers have come up with a really nice tasting crisp and they have gone a bit further and thought about what happens after the bag is emptied (which happens VERY quickly once you get muching). Fully compostable it can just be put in with the kitchen waste. They cost a little more BUT the taste is really so much nicer and if we can reduce waste then let us do so.

I’ve been buying these crisps for a while, they’re incredibly tasty. The company are forward thinking about their zero approach to plastic in their packaging. These are the best on the market for proper crisps. Buy from them direct! I bought them late the day before, dispatched the day after and arrived the following day, super quick! The ready salted are also amazing as well!

I didn't mind paying a little extra to avoid plastic packaging but the crisps were soft and chewy weeks before their Best Before date. Now, still a few days before that date they are inedible. I wouldn't buy them again.
