I bought this in Daisy because I saw the color when looking up a different shade on the Burt's Bees website. If I had seen the picture on this page, I never would have purchased it. Daisy isn't shimmery, and it's certainly not a warm red.I'm a Winter--cool-toned, fair skinned, dark brown hair and eyes. Any makeup that isn't a cool shade does not flatter me, to say the least. Even neutrals are too warm. I like my makeup to look natural. I also have constantly dry lips.As I wrote, I bought this because I liked the color on Burt's Bees website. When the lip balm got here, it was so dark that I checked to see if they'd sent the right one. I was unreasonably certain it was going to stain my lips mulberry, and I waited until I wasn't going anywhere to try it on. It's perfect. The color is just a hint darker than my lips, and it softens as well as the clear Burt's bees lip balm I have.I would order more here, but Amazon is out of stock. Instead, I'll be stocking up at the Burt's Bees website.

Time of year when your lips start cracking and this lip balm sure helps! I keep a tube with me all day long and so far all is well. Protects from the sun and in dry winter weather. Works great, I buy the “4-pack” so I always have a tube handy.

I love Burt's Bees products and the Vanilla Bean lip balm is my favorite! It is creamy and light when applied and keeps my lips from getting chapped. Great stuff!

I have a terrible habit of biting my lips and Burts Bees heals them overnight. What I like about this lip balm is that instead of the gross, waxy feeling of the typical brand sold here in the US near the cash registers in grocery stores it actually gets absorbed into my lips. Plus, the scent is much milder and I appreciate that because strong scents often give me migraines. The other brand might be more useful to coat your lips In subzero temperatures maybe but this stuff is fantastic for everyday wear.
