Review: Went from carrying $300 Bugout to this. - Wanted a cheap edc knife that looked good, felt good, was long enough to cut into at least a double cheeseburger, and sturdy enough for stabbing someone in self defense. Ive had this about a month now. Let me tell you, it checks all the boxes. No exaggeration, best edc knife I've ever had. Took it apart as soon as I got it to clean up and very lightly lube(Balistol-food safe) the internals, add loctite to the screws. Opens like a dream with the ball bearing pivot after you've cycled the action about a few hundred times. Just open and close it a bunch. Will happen naturally if you mindlessly fidget with it like I do. Went from carrying $300 custom Benchmade Bugout to this. Thinking about adding a paracord lanyard or fob to aid in deployment, retention, and grip, since its a bit on the thinner side. Be careful not to drop it as cracks and chips in the transparent handles are pretty apparent. One of the cheapest knives Ive ever bought has quickly become my favorite ever. I doubt you'll be disappointed. EDIT: A month later and I'm stand by my original review. I added a neon orange paracord lanyard that loops around my fingers in order to aid in retention when stabbing.

**Q: Is it spring assisted?**
A: It is not spring assisted, however the ceramic bearings make it almost seem like it is. Extremely satisfying flipper. I get asked about it more than some of the $60-$300 pocket knives I carry. This knife spends a lot of time in my pocket, it’s actually in there right now. ONE OF MY FAVORITES, DEF WORTH THE MONEY!!!

**Q: where is it made?**
A: I can find no location on knife, or online. However I believe the answer is China. I'm not a knife or gun snob by any means. Personally I don't really get spending over a $100 for a knife. This knife is about the best knife I've bought at any price, solid, sharp, looks and feels good in hand. So, unless your EDC is used to break into safes or pry car doors open, I think this is a great EDC knife.

**Q: Screw missing on clip side of knife (opposite from blade when knife opened, i.e., the small one). How can I get a replacement? 100% guarantee?**
A: I had one scale mounting screw either break or back out (and disappear) when the knife was about two months old. Contacted the vendor, he suggested I go to the hardware store to find some replacement.  So, if that's your idea of customer support, then that's what to expect.

**Q: Why does it look like the EA logo though?**
A: Eafengrow knives have the logo of EA on them.

I like this knife very much. It feels very solid and well made. Very smooth opening and closing action, and super sharp out of the box. A bit larger and heavier than I had expected. I would definetly not consider this to be a "gentlemans knife". Too big and heavy, but a nice knife all the same. The only complaint is that the scales have a very abrupt sqaure edge that is not comfortable when holding. Simple enough to grind/file the edges down to round them over, which solved problem completely (see screenshots). I assumed that the scales might be glo in the dark. Though they are not, I do like the Jade color.
