Breville BES860XL, BES870XL Grouphead Gasket

The gasket did not work in the Breville Barista Express BES870XL. I removed the old gasket and side by side the old and new part are obviously different sizes. I installed new gasket and tried it out, and the water and coffee grounds spewed out of the top of the head. Amazon refunded me and I saw on the official breville website the replacement gasket is only $3 instead of this $12 part.

Replaced the original gasket with this in my Breville espresso machine. It held for a few days, then didn't; so I just went in again and pushed it in further, and it held for a few weeks, and then didn't; after pushing it back in further about 10 days ago, it's let go again. It could be another part of the machine that causes this to happen or it could be some ineptitude of mine. It doesn't have the exact same elasticity of the old one (it actually seems stiffer), but maybe that's because the old one was worn out. Bottom line, I'm going to try a different one if it stops doing its job, next time.

After nearly 2 years of at least once daily use, the gasket on my Breville needed to be replaced. This is the OEM replacement. The old one doesn't just fall out but you don't need to worry about damaging the one to be replaced, so you can get it out with a bit of digging. On the other hand it's simple to fit into place. Of course you notice the difference the first time you replace the portafilter into the grouphead.

I mean how do you love a replacement gasket. Yes, it fit perfectly! Also, I took the time to clean my Breville 870XL back to new standards. My unit is at least 4 or 5 years old and this is the first issue we have had. I did order a second backup gasket, so no down time next time, which is probably kind of dumb, as I ordered and received this replacement gasket the same day! Thank you Amazon for the free shipping as well!!! Almost 30 bucks for the gasket might seem a bit expensive, but, so was the Espresso maker. All in all, cheaper and easier than having to shop for a new unit.

leaked, so I returned it. I could have shimmed it with thin silicone sheet but for this much money, it should just work without aggravating me.It did appear to have the same marking as the OEM. And the manufacturer with their reasonable price was out of stock. And this expensive gasket appeared in stock.I'm making my own gaskets now.

The product worked well & made me realize it should be replaced or often.

We bought this ring to replace a deteriorated ring which had lasted several years in the barista express. This ring lasted approximately 3.5 months and is starting to deteriorate. Poor product quality.

I think this was an original Breville o-ring. It's been working fine for a few weeks. Breville charges a fraction of the cost, like $10, but never seem to have them in stock.

Ordered on March 29, and arrived today..Apr 10. It is an OEM Breville part, but for the extra 9$ shipping, it should have been here in a couple days. The package was 40 grams.

Good seal. I replace it and it works great.

a fraction of the price if purchased directly form the company but..... they are constantly out of stock. this was easy and arrived on time and I did not miss any morning coffee.
