Tree LW-KHR3001 Scale, Small, Gray

The scale measurements do "float", up and down a gram or two. One time measurment jumped all over the place. 30.1 grams, 27.6 grams, 32, 29, all over. And there was no outside breezes, wind, vibrations, nothing. Sometimes the 1/10ths of grams do not lock it and will change up and down. Also when you press the buttons to change tare, zero it out, or units, there i a beep, which it is supposed to do, BUT, sometimes there is no beep, then a few minutes later, it beeps again. So it is a quirky scale. If you can deal with the floating weigh and random malfunction of the button pressing beep, the scale is pretty decent.

Overall, this scale has been great. But I bought it a year ago, and it already doesn’t work. Not worth it for the cost.

Works perfectly once you get used to the fact it is very sensitive. When measuring flour for pizza I use grams, but just breathing on the scale can cause it to jump, not to mention walking around the room. Also, my wife and I love the fact that you can disable the annoying timeout feature found in many scales. Nothing worse than measuring several items and having the scale time out between measures. The .1 gram precision is also highly valued. Since I have been using this scale, all of my cooking items have been consistent in results. A bit pricey, but if it lasts it will be well worth it.

This is the one if you want to be able to add salt, spices, etc. Other one gram scales won't start measuring until you reach the first two grams. If you are adding say salt slowly a one gram scale (increment) will never start reading-you could add a pound without being able to get started. This scale allows you measure such items and starts when you start adding ingredients. Also this model is sturdy, has some weight to it, and four areas with a secure fit to the platform. Seems like it will last a long time dependably.

I'm very happy with this Tree KHR3000 Kitchen Scale. It met my expectations for a 0.1gm reading.Although the backlight is clear, however, the wordings on the grey panel should be another colour e.g. white as the blue colour does not show up well & is hard to read when you have low lighting.

I am very pleased with this purchase as it is one of the few kitchen scales that measures down to tenths of a gram. I calibrated the machine according to the product directions. As such, the measurements are quite accurate. It's a bit heavy and clunky, but appears well manufactured.

This scale is perfect for me. I didn't realize how often a scale would come in handy for every-day cooking. The machine is very easy to use. I use the adapter all the time, so I don't know how long the batteries would work. I especially like the bowl - you can weigh tiny things with no problem and pour directly into your recipe. Very easy to set. Love it!

Love it! Very stable and accurate. The clear plastic bowl is perfect for weighing out flour, sugar and other ingredients. If you want to bake like the pros, you will weigh your ingredients instead of measuring. I also buy large packages of ground beef when it's on sale and use the scale to divide it into smaller 1 lb. portions.
