I have really bad neck pain from multiple work injuries, so I don't expect any pillow to fix that. I just hope for enough support that I can sleep through the night and have less pain in the morning! This pillow has REALLY helped me, and it's so comfortable! Having memory foam and a water base together is a fantastic combination! This pillow cradles my head when I'm in the middle of the pillow, and is very soft while at the same time ergonomically supportive. I like firm support, so I have a lot of water in the pillow. It works really well for me, and this is one of the few ergonomic pillows I've found that actually has real support! I would advise to anyone considering this pillow to experiment with the water amount; it's going to make a huge difference if you get it right for your preference. It will be very comfortable!
