Wildlife World Hedgehog Water Bowl

We have two of these, one for food and one for water. Each will hold 160ml of water or 90g of dried cat food, left in a sheltered spot. (Good food but not top brands, cats will steal it all).Both bowls are usually empty by the morning, which is good, because it encourages us to clean the bowls...The bowls are heavy and sturdy, perfect for hedgehogs. OK, cats may steal some, but there are enough hog scats left as a "thank you" for us to be sure who gets the food. The bowls are a bit small, but unless you're feeding an array of hogs, they are adequate for one night.Definitely recommend.

Well, the fact is that my spikey garden chums are not actually that bothered what their grub comes in but my wife and I enjoy doing our bit and that includes indulging our own fantasises that the hogs appreciate the small efforts we make including new table wear.First off this isn't a huge bowl, but that's not a problem in my opinion. I have a large garden and over a couple of years we have noticed - via the use of WiFi cameras around the place - that the hedgehogs do roam over a large area and prefer to visit multiple feeding places. Thus, a small amount in a number of bowls seems to work well and fits in with their natural habits.Secondly this is robust and heavy(ish) and that's a good thing. Every so often we get foxes around and what we noticed is that if they found food in a light bowl such as a plastic one, they would eat the food and then nick the dish sometimes playing with it and chewing it up. This one is safe from that.So, overall, Spiney, The American, and Fatty are happy with their new bowl.

We were using a deeper bowl for our spiny visitors which seemed to get pulled over rather than drank from and after researching realised that hedgehogs prefer shallow water. Can confirm that our visitors are more than happy to drink from this :) It's well made, has a nice thick glaze on it so washes up well and isn't top heavy with the addition of the little hedgehog on the edge.

We have purchased two of these overtime, for feeding hedge hogs, even ground feeding Birds. they are the perfect size and height holds water well as well as feed. Simple to clean and used for various animals. Although best to hide within bushes and shrubs. So not feeding the big birds

I bought 2 water bowls and 2 Snack bowls, 2 sets for 2 feeding stations ( hedgehog houses specifically for feeding and not for residence / hibernating purposes) and I specifically wanted square bowls to sit the corners of these feeding stations . 1 Water bowl was perfect, stable and lovely whereas the 2nd was wobbly. Upon inspecting reason for wobble, I discovered that there was a piece of clay attached to the bottom of the bowl and put into the kiln and fired as such. Both Snack bowls were very wobbly, both had become distorted during the kiln firing process. I was incredibly disappointed and sent them all back for refund! In my opinion, quality control by the manufacturer is either poor or non-existent!

Purtroppo anche la seconda ciotola è arrivata rotta. Si tratta di un articolo molto fragile, la maniglia di ceramica si spezza. Assolutamente inadatto alla spedizione se non con imballo accuratissimo.
