Its coffee-like taste goes well with savory or sweet, and is a refreshing, sugar-free, caffeine-free option to go with meals, especially dinner.There are 4 packets of 4 bags each, so you don't have them all open after the first batch. The 1-1.5 liter volume per bag is a little inconvenient in some ways (I had to save and clean out a bottle of something else to store it in), compared to individual-cup bags, but it's also convenient in that you don't have to heat up your kitchen daily with boiled water. Heck, you can cold-brew it!Simple to make, easy to enjoy, this is a great way to help get off caffeinated or sugary drinks and add a little bit of Japan to your day.

I have had many a glass of iced Mugicha in my day, both in Japan and the States; this particular cold brew tea is THE BEST! 👌 I steep two bags in a half gallon Mason jar overnight, and the effect is incredible! Full-bodied flavour that is both exciting and refreshing! This tea is even better than Ito En's bottled version, and for much much less $$! Don't hesitate to give this tea a try, I'm sure you'll be as hooked as I am after the first sip!

I used to buy this at my nearest Asian market, but they stopped carrying it. I was very happy to find it again. I have been binging on it over ice. Ah! Just the thing on a hot day.

I take care of an elderly lady born and raised in Tokyo and this lady knows and loves her tea!! I got this to share with her and it’s hands down one of the best teas I’ve ever brewed. I could drink gallons of this if I let myself! Heavenly aroma and nice toasty taste, add a bit of sweetener and tastes just like honey smacks! :)

Love the ease—cold brew. Love the taste. Love the caffeine free. Has become a staple for me. Best taste in the barley category imho.Miss this tea. Other brands just not as good! Please bring back!!
