A glorious picture book
I am enjoying reading this book, full of lovely ideas about each picture plus ideas for further studies about them; now I have to decide which of my three grandchildren I should give it to!

so thin
I don't trust the books that are that thin, I mean really, the subject of art and you give 64 pages including glossary and index?? I know it is intended for a child but it doesn't mean you can skive the subject like that.

Not impressed. The front cover and blurb don't give a good indication of what's in the book.
Several famous works with naked people and works that are intimate & romantic in nature.Disturbing facts about artists that weren't important to include in a book for children.Honestly, I don't know what they were thinking?There are so many beautiful pieces of art by the very same artists that could have been included, without including things that children shouldn't know or see.
