I use them for making baby food so I don't know how they would react from the heat of the candle flame. **Q: what size labels do these require?** A: These jars are a bit smaller on top than on the bottom. If your using sticker labels, you may have some issues if they are to cover the whole jar/product. I ended up tying small tags to the jars.
