I didn't buy these to use on luggage but to use on my tool bags. All metal wire clasp tough as nails. Takes a beating from job site to job site. Comes in a multitude of colors for easy identification. Highly recommend them for luggage or took bags

These tags in stainless steel are beautiful as well as being lifetime-sturdy. I had an idea of using them as identification tags on our backpacks for a small cycling club. They work better than I thought. They're heavier and larger than I thought they would be but I find that's a plus. They're entirely a quality stainless steel and have a heavy, flexible plastic window that slides in and out. The back plate slides in and out and there's room inside for several sheets of paper. You could put a five dollar bill inside, or a trail pass, maybe both, or more identification information. They come with a tag you can print your name, address, etc. on, but I made cards that will show on the front that have the name of our cycling club and each person's initials, so we can identify backpacks easily on a ride. Then inside the tag, we'll have room for trail passes and emergency identification. The little cables that come with them are smooth and well-made, almost like jewelry but heavy duty. With just one practice, I could open and close them easily, but you have to know the "trick." After you order the tags, you receive templates through email that give you possible tags to print out and give you ideas for how to use the tags. You also learn how to use the little cables. You could also use your own bead chain as the hole is ample. These are unique and the cycling club will love them. These will last years and years on the trails.

These are super sturdy and highly visible. The metal cable is indestructible. Highly recommend.

I have been a frequent business traveler for 20 years, and in that time I have gone through literally countless luggage tags of various materials and designs. Very few of them lasted more than three or four trips on a checked bag. Tags get caught on equipment and torn off, sometimes damaging your bag in the process. Buckles and snaps on leather tags break, and plastic loops get brittle and lose strength.These tags are the answer. The cable is braided stainless steel with a very well-made threaded connector. It is thick enough to be VERY strong, but still thin enough for be somewhat flexible and to fit through the small hole in the tag portion. The tag portion itself appears to be all aluminum. It is strong, light, and exactly the right size for a standard business card. The silver color helps make it clearly visible against most bags, so you will easily spot your bag on the conveyor among the 200 similar looking ones.I don't write many reviews, but I chose to do so here because this product has everything I admire -- functional design, quality materials, and great value. I liked my first one so much that I bought more to put on every bag I own, and to give as gifts to colleagues.

Good old tufftaag got bent the first time I traveled with it. I like how it stands out; nice design with good colors and made of metal. The ones on my cary-ons remain in good shape, but the fact that the tag on my suitcase got bent from standard airport baggage handling, first time in use, doesn't leave me feeling too confident. It's still usable, but not what I was expecting from a $10 luggage tag called "TUFFTAAG"! The metal ring also tends to bend and crease easily. I know they dual advertise this as a business card holder, but I would never assume this product to be so if they hadn't marketed it. Not a function I plan on using. The next thing isn't a big deal, but I noticed product inconsistency among the 3 I ordered. Some said "tuggtaag" on the front and blank on the back, while others were blank on the front and said "proudguy" on the back. Probably just from different batches. Just felt like mentioning it.

Love the red colour of the tags. The metal circle that holds the tag onto the luggage is exceptionally strong. I think I will be using these tags forever.
