These are a bit expensive but they are worth it. That being said,I have to admit I have bought 9 so far... they are fairly small but I use them for the adults and the kids so don't just think of them as sauce cups. I use them for small measured snacks during the day (I take 2 or 3 of them with some pieces of dried fruit, peanuts, pistachios (couple of good mouthfuls in each one) but I do the same for my toddler aged children. I pack snacks in them for them as well and they are just the right size for a small snack instead of handing them a big bag. Think outside the box a little and things like 4 ritz crackers (perfect for a couple of peanut butter crackers) almost like they were made for them. 10 cheez-its crackers, a little handful of diced dried fruit or fresh since they don't leak etc... they are perfect, seal tightly and are very well made. most importantly to me, they are supposed to be 18/8 stainless and solid. Kudos to lunchbots for using an actual commercial grade and quality stainless. Many are a cheaper, less durable grade that will rust if your not careful and if your not careful will actually leach metal into your food (especially anything acidic). I'm willing to pay a little extra for better quality and something that really should last a lifetime (the rubber seals won't but we'll see). I did find that a magnet will stick to some parts of the container but not all, likely something to do with the manufacturing as it's rolled which may create a bit of a less than even distribution of the materials. Haven't actually done the vinegar test yet (pour a tbsp of vinegar in your "stainless steal" vessel and let it rest for a few minutes - if it tastes like metal - well, metal will leach into your food most notably things that are acidic. high quality stainless will not produce a metallic taste at all. Dear lunchbots - make some bigger ones, please... like a 3 or 4 ounce version.

Teenage daughter tested out newest LunchBots Dips. She really likes the colors and how cute they are. She found them convenient because they were small and easy to transport for her meals. She put nuts, jam and cereal in the containers. They did not leak at all and she had no issues opening and closing them. She says in the future she can also use them for dips as well as treats. Initially, I thought each kid could have his/her own container, but I suspect each will want a set of 3. They are great for foods you need in small amounts and want contained. I tend to do a lot of handwashing so while they are dishwasher safe, I have found them so quick and easy to wash by hand. The silicon tops make them easy to stack in the cupboard when not in use. These are a great addition to the LunchBots line and we will be using them a lot for summer and school year meals on the go.

I like these very much. They are a good size for sauces, dressings, and treats, and they fit nicely in my LunchBots containers. I have deducted 1 star for the seals which can be difficult to manage. I often have to remove the seals to clean under them, and replacing them is sometimes tricky. If you don't sit the seal in there just right, the bot will leak. I'm careful about checking the seal, but my daughter is still trying to get the hang of it, and that has caused some messes. It's great to have little containers that are not plastic. I'm very happy I purchased them.

These are quite simply the best portable food containers I have ever had, and I am an expert after four decades of brownbagging it. When they arrived, I subjected one of them to my grueling test. I filled it with water, stood over the sink, turned it upside down and shook it as hard as I could. I was literally trying to shake the lid off. Not a drop escaped. The lid stayed firm. At last, a perfect piece of equipment. I will never have mayo and mustard all over my reports again. I like to put my condiments on at work so the sandwich doesn't get soggy in transit. This has often meant the destruction of innocent and helpless briefcases and purses subjected to leaking condiments. I also purchased the large 4-ounce stainless steel LunchBots container and gave it the same test. Same result. Lid stayed firmly closed and not a drop of water escaped. I plan to acquire more LunchBot containers. They will be great for picnics, too. And what a perfect Christmas present! I appreciate and look for superb equipment, and I feel downright smug about discovering these amazing containers. Oh and they are dishwasher friendly too. What's not to love?

Got these to keep some emergency cookies for my toddler. Perfect size to hold 4 pieces of Gerber's Arrowroot Biscuits lol. Or other small munchies without being broken/dispersed in my purse (fine, it's a fanny pack not a purse). The lid is somewhat soft, flexible - perfect for what I need. It closes/opens without much effort. It holds liquid tight (I can put water in it and shake w/o leak) but wouldn't dare putting liquidy stuff like ketchup and toss in my bag. It holds liquid in while the lid is closed, but the cap will probably easily come off when tossed around.

I tried all kinds of non-plastic containers for dressings and all of them either leaked or were huge heavy glass. This finally gets it right for ketchup, peanut butter, cream cheese, dressing, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, or even toddler portions of things like raisins or nuts. They are stainless steel cups with stainless steel lids. The lid has a screw-on mechanism to lock it and a flat silicone ring fused to the inside. The silicone being fused on is nice so it can't get lost or fall off in the dishwasher. They are style neutral for adults or kids with no paint to chip off. They have gone through the dishwasher no problem. It's a great idea, long overdue. Update 5/31/13 The silicone gasket has loosened and is warped (probably from me being so lazy and washing it in the dishwasher-even though it says it is dishwasher safe). But it has made is nearly (but not altogether) impossible to close them with a leak proof seal. I continue to use them, since I never trusted the kids to thread the lids on securely anyway, I can deal with it.

Perfect size for condiments and bento boxes. I have small brushes for scrubbing corners of bento boxes that I can also use for the silicone lids. Pictures is a Bentgo Kids Chill and the Target deluxe Bento box Cat & Jack. Both jars low enough for lid to close. Easy for kindergartner to open and close.

Für meine Kinder, die noch in die Kita gehen, habe ich schon bereits die LunchBots geholt und nun dazu passend die Mini Behälter. Die Passform ist ideal für kleine Sachen, wie Nüsse etc. Meine Kinder bekommen sie spielend leicht auf und freuen sich jeden Tag aufs neue, sobald die Mini Behälter mit in die LunchBots dürfen. Was noch viel wichtiger ist, die Behälter sind aus Edelstahl und somit langläbig, frei von Chemie und gut für die Umwelt.

Very sturdy little steel pots! I use them for humous or dried fruit in the kids' packed lunches. They do a great job and are easy to clean. I haven't tried them with salad dressing yet so can't vouch for their "leakproof-ness" but the seal in the lid looks like it would cope.

Been using these to carry olive oil, vinegar, balsamic and other seasonings. It's perfect. Watertight, no leaking with the silicone seal, doesn't retain any smells, but I wouldn't wash it on the dishwasher - I've had other silicone utensils pick up a taste and smell from it, so won't be taking any chances. Great all over!

They are truly leakproof; which is something I have been desperately trying to find. The only thing is it's a bit pricey for such little tins, but I guess it's what you have to do to stop lunch time accidents.
