Venstar T1700 1 Day Programmable Digital Thermostat

I had a Venstar thermostat that the light burned out. It was a pain to set because you could not readily see the screen. It functioned perfectly for years so I bought another. It's reliable, simple, and works fine to adjust furnace and air conditioner. And, I bought the same exact form factor so I could just remove the old one from the base plate and plug in the new one without having to do any rewiring. Five stars.

It works well and it was delivered on time as promised.

Love that this model is still available to purchase. Made for easy installation. The one that we replaced was there when we bought our place over 10 years ago and we have no idea how long before we moved in old one was there. Appears to be a good one based on its longevity. Simple and easy to use. It’s all you need.

I replaced my old item for this one. I like the easy way to install. It works very good!

Super easy to hook up … the hardest part was using a flat tip screwdriver to pop off the old thermostat. Trust me … you can do this .
