Review: Still working after all these years - Make sure you format the memory card every month or couple of weeks and it will work forever. The plastic bracket is still the original one and did not dry. I live in Arizona but try to park my car under the shade over the summer and have a carport at home... Great complement to your auto insurance :)

For the price and features, you probably can't beat this dashcam. Pros: HD (720p), 30fps audio and video during the entire duration of your drive, ability to take pictures or record on the fly, and it comes with an SD card for holding the recordings. Cons: The software that is required for the dashcam is held on the SD card, and you can't watch the videos without installing the software first, even though the videos are encoded in a common video format. The impact sensor built into the dashcam is a little too sensitive, in my opinion. In using the product for a month, I already have 20-25 "incidents" where the dashcam thought I was in an accident due to an uneven road surface. Besides that, it's a great value dashcam.
