amika 3D volume & thickening conditioner

I have the most baby fine hair in the world -- and never use daily conditioner because it "weights" my hair down and makes it limp until a couple of washings later. My hair person recommended thi product, and I reluctantly tried it. It is awesome!!!!! I still use "no more baby detangler" right after, but it doesn't weight my hair down and actually seems to make it look thicker. My hair person said my hair is in so much better shape now. My only complaint - I hate the (smaller size) version bottle. When you first start using it, a lot comes out. As you get to the end of the bottle, you can't get it out and then when you squeeze it, sometimes a huge amount comes out. But I can "take it" for how I love it!!!!! I suppose they do that on purpose so you consume more quicker, so be very careful when squeezing the silly pink bottle!

My water softener had been broken for many months, leaving my hair a damaged, residue-coated, rust-colored mess. My husband replaced the resin bed in the water softener and my hair feels soooooooooooooo much cleaner, but it was still looking very “see-through”. I have a closet filled with rejected products from years of trying to make my few hairs look like many, so I was skeptical of the Amika 3D shampoo and conditioner duo. They left my hair feeling “textured, not silky soft, but definitely looking and feeling thicker. The second time I washed my hair, I added a bit of Eva NYC therapy mask to the ends for softness (and the heavenly smell), and this combination worked very well. I am trying very hard to only use vegan, cruelty-free, non-toxic beauty products so I appreciate that Amika hits the mark on all of those points. The smell is pleasant, but very light (I have been spoiled by the delicious EvaNYC collection fragrance). I will continue to purchase the shampoo and conditioner 3D duo because even though my ends are a bit dry after use, it is easy to add a leave-in or second conditioner, and it definitely makes my sad, scraggly hair look bigger!

I have super duper thin hair- I've been using this product for a month and can absolutely tell the difference in thickness of my hair! Smell also reminds me ofJuicy Couture.

I absolutely hate this shampoo and conditioner. It makes my hair waxy, matted, and tangled. It's effective in that it gives my flat, straight hair volume, but not at a cost I'm willing to pay. I'm going to keep dealing with it until my upcoming salon visit and will purchase new product then.

This shampoo works really well with my hair, I usually rotate different shampoos during each month & I tend to use this one more because it doesn't dry my hair out & it make my hair feel thick, healthier & shiny! Smells good too!

This is going back. It doesn’t volumize and made my roots greasy and flat. I used it with the shampoo same line. My wash usually lasts 2-3 days, and it was greasy and not suitable for the public by the second day with this. Terrible.

This DOES NOT leave a film in your hair like some reviews said. I have extremely thin hair and it’s been absolutely wonderful! I LOVE the smell and it makes my hair so smooth and voluminous.

My hairstylist recommend this to me and I love it. I love the size of bottle.

The best smelling conditioner I've ever used. Also makes my naturally wavy hair stay wavy for longer. If you want more volume, buy this immediately. Sephora sells 236mL for $26.50 but Amazon sells 300mL for $24.
