When I got my car i had 2 keys one with a horrible nut and bolt holding it together. The other looked ok. The dealer said not to use the ok one. Curieuse I found it didn't work on inspection it looked like battery was in back to front. Didnt want to risk opening the nut and bolt key to check. So got a new battery and then had one key that worked and looked OK. I then bought this .looked ok but no logo but chickened out of changing the nut and bolt key. I went away and when car stalled with my old key, I turned key and it came apart. Pressed back together. But not happy. I then found a professional who charged me €42. To replace the key fob with one exactly like this. He did it in time I too to unload my shopping trolly into car. On my return I looked at you tube got my tool box out and did the change on my nut and bolt key. One tip when it comes to knocking the pin out. I had a pad of A4 paper for ring binder, this gave me a hole I could tap the pin out into , so not doing the tapping in mid air as shown on you tube, and no loosing the pin as it stayed in the hole till needed. Just take your time . Do it when your calm and no little ones or pets distractions

Great value for money. I just wanted the fob, because my old fob was broken and the key was lose. It was very difficult put my old key in the new fob, after watching some You Tube videos and nearly 2 hours trying everything (a probably didn't have the adequate tool) I managed to do it and it's now perfect like new.

If you buy a replacement key from the car dealer ship (i.e peugot) you pay something stupind like £100 + for a replacement, but if you buy one of these and just replace the key blade you only have to pay a few £. I did find removing the blade a little tricky, but if you google replacing car key blade, you can usually get a good "How to" guide that will show you how to do it. I have bought several versions of these devices for my family's various vehicles, and they have lasted several years so far and are still going strong.

Good quality but the shell did not fit my C3 key. I think I ordered as well without the key, I just wanted to replace the buttons and the key mechanism, I did not want to make a new engraving. It would be useful to provide more guidance on that part. It's shame that the shell bit differs from my previous shell a 2012 C3 zenith roof. Ultimately, it was a waste for me.
