Big John candy fan. Alongside sgt. Broom they are so clumsy and funny throughout this comedy. I had the vhs at one time but it got ruined so this was a great find for me! Lots of laughs!

He is a amazing actor, super funny. Long time fan. that have ben said, Not his best work. I did laugh pretty hard at some parts and found my self spacing out and having to rewind in other parts....Smoke up for this one

Thank goodness for SCTV. This is so mock-worthy.
It's obvious that this is very early if not the earliest thing from John Candy. If he hadn't honed his chops on SCTV right after, we might have never seen him do anything better. His acting (and part) in this was small, rough amateur quality at best.The entire thing was poorly done. Script was grade school level as were the slapstick jokes. Oh, and Lawrence Dane really sucked.Two stars instead of one because it's so laughable.Watch it. Get a soda and do an in-home MST on it. You really can't enjoy this movie but by making fun of it.

WHY DOES THIS HAVE AUTOCAPTIONS
absolutely absurd that this is available with automatic captions instead of the REAL thing. if it's possible to find a download online that comes with legitimate subtitles then amazon has no excuse lol. it doesn't seem like a great movie (was only wanting to watch it for lawrence dane) but the "captions" on here are so incredibly garbled in places that i don't feel like i can make a final decision until i watch it with proper subs.this doesn't feel like it should be legal. HOW was this allowed?

Good movie. It was facinationg to watch the first movie John Candy in a starring role. It's not one of his best movies, but it's worth watching, especially for John Candy fans.

Appalling.How on earth could Dick Emery and Peter Cook allow themselves to be involved in this rubbish.I bought the dvd on the strength of their nammes and will make sure that i read a review before buying a dvd that i have never heard of again.

Argh, just thinking about this film gives me a migrene
This film is so exhausting to watch. The first 15-20 (25 tops) minutes are funny but after that it is sooooo damn exhausting to watch that I soon got alittle head-ache. Everyone is yelling, and there are loud noizes constantly. The last 30 minutes is a nightmare to watch. I was so relieved when the end credits came.I will now sell this DVD !!!
