Very good product
A little difficult to mount back on the system, it does not come with an instruction booklet, but ones you put back it works great.

Fixed a leak
Note that the product has been redesigned and top does not look like the photo. The mechanism to control flow of hot water has been redesigned. For DIY, I could not find a video that matched until I looked for Delta and found the exact cartridge and following that video, it was a 10 minute job. I suspect the Delta part would have fit and was less expensive. Will update after I see how long it last.

So far so good
I bought a house with Hansgrohe mixers in both showers. Like others the issue I had was that it would leak with the valve off. It was really hard to find the right part, though I got lucky and order the right one the 1st time. There's no instructions, but you can find the manuals on their website.New valve wasn't too hard to install but I did have to pull out more tools that suggested as the hard water and wear and tear on the old valve made it more difficult. We'll see if I encounter leaking issues in a few months like other reviews have stated.

I don’t recommend
I purchased this shower valve in February 2022 to replace my original cartridge that began dripping after 10 years of use. As of 8.10.22 the cartridge started to drip and as of today it’s dripping so bad that I have a bucket catching the drips so I can at least use the water to water my plants. I don’t recommend this product since it only lasted 7 months. Pretty bummed to have to order another one and have to do the work again!!

So much for German engineering
The part is different from the 3 year old part it is replacing, but I think the part is correct, just revised. Unfortunately the box did not include installation instructions. In an Internet search only the schematic for the old part is available so I need to call Hansgrohe for technical support due to this unprofessional packaging by Hansgrohe. So much for German engineering. I assume that it's going to work when I eventually get it installed.

I wish, I can give minus stars...
Cartridge starts leaking in 3 month after instillation. Means I have to buy new one and pay for plumber's service. Very expensive parts. By the way - original was in service for 10 years

Be prepared to replace cartridges often with Hansgrohe faucets.
I am a property manager and very familiar with cartridge inserts for faucets. I typically buy from home supply stores but for my home I decided to purchase more upscale faucets from designer bathroom and kitchen stores. The look of the Hansgrohe faucets is upscale and very modern however the cartridges within them are the cheapest I've ever seen. I'm replacing these at least once a year throughout my home and the cost is anywhere from $30-$70. The specific problem is that they begin to leak after about a year appearing as though the faucet is not turned off. I'm responsible for HUNDREDS of faucets within my line of work that NEVER fail. The only failing faucets in my life are in my home and they are all unfortunately Hansgrohe. Needless to say I'm never purchasing Hansgrohe ever again.
