Spending a little more money goes a long way
I went from a cheap mr coffee maker to this, the different is insane.I have brewed about 5 cups now, 2 k cups and 3 ground coffee, and 1 bold brew. Everything works really well and honestly props to the design team on this one. There are very niche things that I thought would be a minor inconvenience that ended up being well designed instead. For example, the water can be taken out, which is normal, but it stands upright if you need to set it somewhere to fill it up. The funnel and front-opening design of the k cup slot or coffee slot is also super easy to access and stress freeBiggest complaint for people: It takes time to brewLike I mentioned I went from a mr coffee to this, and the mr coffee made coffee a lot fasterBut the taste was absolutely terrible and I used to think it was the ground coffee's faultCome to find out, this maker makes way tastier coffee with less grounds used.SO yeah, it takes longer to brew, but I would take that over a fast brew cup of terrible coffee any day. I dont see how people have been complaining about thatAlso grounds leaking into your cup / spilling out of the machineIf you have a brain, this wont happen. People who have had spilling issues did not read the instructions about flushing out the system if you stop a brew mid way, and grounds getting into your cup usually means your coffee is finer than the filter (Use a coarser grind). To be honest though, even with fine coffee there was minimal leakage into the cupI never imagined how much more you could get by shelling out 40-50 more bucks, Worth it all the way I'd buy it again any time.

Latch issues
Bought this coffeemaker in May. The latch was quite difficult to close, but it got easier. Now it won’t stay latched and can’t brew. Nice coffeemaker and delicious coffee. It’s too piercing needle frequently clogs if it isn’t rinsed after each brew. Latch issue aside, it is a nice brewer though is slower than a Keurig.

Coffee's OK But HB Cut Some Corners -Some things you should know before you buy
First, the coffee is OK. I expect it tastes about the same as any coffee from any k-cup machine, and the price is low compared to other sellers' models with similar features. I don't regret buying it.BUT:1) The power cord is too short (2 ft.) to reach the plug near the floor. Almost every buyer who doesn't have a spot right next to a counter-high outlet will need to buy an extension cord in order to use this device. Another $5 or so. Not the end of the world but an irritation.2) This Model 3 does NOT accept the water filter holder that fits the previous Model 2 BUT it is shipped with a Model 2 water filter holder which does not fit and cannot be used. The filter and holder float to the surface of the water reservoir after insertion. So, you cannot install the included water filter because nobody at HB realized that the people designing the water reservoir and the people designing the water filter didn't talk to each other. Consequently, the two don't fit together. That means that this unit will NOT filter your water and will require you to use pre-filtered water and throw away the included incompatible water filter.I told HB about this and they said, essentially, "Thanks. We'll send your comment to other people in our company." Good luck with that.3) This model does NOT include a K-cup receptacle so that you can use your own ground coffee in the K-cup holder. It does have a much larger filtered basket in which you can place a little or a lot of loose coffee, but that won't get you the same flavor as coffee that is passed through a K-cup insert. It will function the same way as a Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker but without any paper filter. You will to buy your own paper filters to fit into this basket.I purchased a stainless steel K-cup receptacle from Amazon to use with this unit so that I can fill it with my own ground coffee. It works fine, but that's an extra $12 or so you're going to have to spend in addition to the extension cord if you want to make single cups of coffee with your own ground coffee.4) The UI is poor. After you have inserted the k-cup, you press a "regular" or "Strong" button, and NOTHING happens. No "Brewing" message. No blinking "brewing" light. No beeping sound. It just silently sits there and you wonder, "Is it broken? Is it working? Did I fail to do something?" No, no, no.It's just lacking any UI feedback that tells you that it's getting ready to make your coffee. After maybe 30 second to a minute (no, I didn't time it) a stream of coffee will start to spill out. You just have to assume that your button press actually did something and wait.To me, the message from all of this is that HB is a company that doesn't do any real user testing or customer feedback on new designs before final manufacturing. They just churn out something to sell as cheaply as possible. So, yes, it's an OK machine after you buy an extension cord and a K-cup module and you get used to the lack of any indication that it's actually recognized your button press and is going to deliver your coffee. So far, I would buy it again but with the understanding that there's an extra $15, more or less, that you will have to spend to buy the extras that will make it work if you intend to use your own ground coffee instead of using pre-made K-cup pods.

Revised. NOT A GREAT coffee maker or Customer service
I originally gave this Hamilton Beach coffee machine a high review. I would give it a 0 now if I could. Worked great for 80 days. Then it just locked up and would do nothing. You can only contact Hamilton Beach through a message. 800 numbers just a recorded message. After several form emails from Cust services, I was told the machine was out of warranty . Even tho it was bought in January 2024 and it is now March 2024 because the serial number said it was a year old in March.(must have sat in a shelf in warehouse for 9 months). This $75 machine made approximately 80 cups of coffee. I informed them I had the receipt of purchase in January and was told they don’t honor copies of receipts…… so basically no warranty. No suggestion on fixing it. Nothing but a 15% coupon to buy another one. I will never buy Hamilton Beach products again. All I can say is.. believe the negative reviews‼️‼️‼️ Original review. Not sure what all negative reviews are about. Love this coffee maker. Had a Hamilton Beech without water storage for years. This is an upgrade for me and works great.Tried a Keurig before I bought this and returned it. Coffee tasted metallic. This coffee maker has great tasting coffee.Yes, I’d recommend it.

Great coffe maker
Mine is a used/acceptable item., It looked more or less brand new. I did run it w water & little vinegar a few time to make sure it was clean.. It works great, there are no scratches/dents that were listed with the acceptable description. It does take a few minutes for the water to heat up and it makes bit of noise, none of which bother me. Flavor is always depended on the coffee used. Water is easy to fill and overall use is super easy. It is a little broader than what I thought I guess because the water tank is on the side not the back Overall for now I am a fan of it and recommend it

Great coffee maker!
One of the best coffee makers I ever had! Yes it takes a couple minutes to make a cup of coffee, but it's worth the wait! Coffee is hot and delicious. It's very sturdy I guess, the delivery person threw it at my front door from a distance, box was very damaged and it still works great lol... I like that it has a removable water tank and the option to use up my coffee ground from my previous drip coffee maker that broke.

Not AC/DC like product desc says. Did not work.
The product description says AC/DC and bought as a gift on amazon singapore and shipped to my mom in singapore. After she plugged in the coffee machine did not brew a single cup. The water soes not come out. When she called we found out that its 120v 60hz. Felt aweful that my parents spent so much time troubleshooting and did not get to enjoy their coffee. I am very upset. I cant return as its international shipping. Complete waste of money. Will never buy any electronics gift from amazon singapore.

Excellent Machine
Wow wasnt expecting it to arrive for another 2 or 3 weeks. Tried it iut and absolutely love this machine. Yes it is a bit slower than other machines but the reusable filter is awesome. Used to seeing sludge in bottom of cup from other reusable cups but bottom of cup today was clean.

Hamilton Beach Flexbrew Single Serve Coffee Maker
I bought this, as I wanted to try something other than a Keurig, which I find to be of very poor quality and do not work as intended for very long. Frankly, this Flexbrew is horrible! Despite me running through at least 10 reservoirs of water, the coffee brewed has a nasty taste and smell. The thing is also painfully slow. If I have to make coffee for us and, say, two guests, it becomes a "career" . Each brew has to be first pumped into the boiler then heated up from scratch. Please do not waste your money on this junk. Sorry Keurig, you were not so bad after all!
