Four Stars
I love Christmas Music, could listen to it year round. Just think it was overpriced a bit.

A family favorite! Eventually we lost the original then found it on amazon. My daughter and I both ordered and enjoyed it this past Christmas.

The smoother side of Christmas
Back in the mid 1990s Pottery Barn came up with the idea of putting out a Christmas CD each holiday season and selling them in stores. The first CD set the pattern: take an eclectic mix of mostly forgotten Christmas songs by top artists and sell it to hipsters, cognoscenti, and those "in the know". The songs were typically a mix of pop, soul, jazz, and oddball tracks you weren't likely to hear when radio stations switched over to Christmas music after Thanksgiving. "Christmas Crooners" however doesn't fall quite so neatly into that same format, opting instead for straightforward pop sung by some of the best postwar crooners. This is perfectly suited for all occasions: home, work, the car, you name it. It might be a bit snoozy for parties but it's hardly a bore. And unlike some of these compilations where the sequencing can jar from track to track there's none of it here. This is like finely aged bourbon, it's smooth and goes down well! This is perhaps the most consistent one from Pottery Barn and the perfect antidote to long hard day of shopping or decorating. Relax and enjoy!
