The Emerald Berries (2) (The Adventures of Sophie Mouse)

This is a sweet series for early readers. It helped encourage my child to keep reading.

It was intense some, at parts, but only for briefmoments, not too much for my sensitive 6 year old even. And the story is not too dry for adults, for me at least, either.

My five year old daughter is really enjoying these stories! She is going to Kindergarten this year, so this is a great introduction to chapter books for her. Currently on book two, and she wants to keep going! I am enjoying reading them to her as well. It will be a little while until she is reading them herself, but there are pictures on every page, so super easy for her to follow along with the story.

We've just started the series and have read the first two books as a family. Our 4.5 year old son is really enjoying them. Great friendship focus, fun details, and little pictures throughout.

somewhat predictable -- but gentle and interesting (to my 6-year old granddaughter) with nice illustrations.

Cute little book series for little readers. I would say 1st or 2nd grader can understand this. The story about Sophie Mouse and her friends are very cute.

Super sweet tales of a little mouse, Sophie and her critter friends. It is a great first chapter book for grade 2/3 level readers. My daughter loves the entire series

All the Sophie Adventure books are great! My 3 and 5 year olds love when I read them and want me to read them again and again. The story is sweet, easy to follow and good discussions to have with my kids after. The pictures are also really well done.
