Body Language 101: The Ultimate Guide to Knowing When People Are Lying, How They Are Feeling, What They Are Thinking, and More

when reading about each body language it has excellent picture but it then refers you back to other pages to read. I think it should have things all together instead of going back and forward trying to understand on the kindle fire. it not that easy to move from page to page on the kindle, it actually make me lose interest in the book.

I am not sure how scientific it is but the book made a decent impression on me. The reason I am saying just decent and not great is because I really would like to see more studies and science behind all this. But if you want to entertain your friends at a party talking to them about the body language, this is probably a good start.

It's a very good intro in this theme. list the basics and some not-so. Recommended. It help to take conscience about our expressions and its meanings

Not worth reading. The information contained in it is trivial at best in my opinion.

This book reads more like a hyper-organized textbook. No stories or real life application. I cannot recommend it, especially on the kindle version.

There are better books available. This one deals mostly in generalities. It might serve as a interdiction in the subject

A bit less than what I was hoping for. Many of the conclusions seemed pretty intuitive and not much new. A good primer and an easy read for someone approaching the subject for the first time. Well organized and illustrated. It is just a surface skim and I was hoping for deeper.

The best thing about this book is it's design, it looks fantastic and is very well organised. The book is choc-full of photographs and illustrations into colour coded categories, arrange via body parts and meanings. The book is a great size has modern rounded corners. Sadly the content lets it down slightly. The book is titled "Body Language 101" but it's still a little too basic. The book mostly just covers rudimentary communication despite this I believe there many things to be learnt from this book.I feel the reviews left by these people below are all inaccurate as it seems they have subjectively judged the book by what they purpose and it's overall quality.Phillip Gallier (1star), A. I think it would be fascinating read for anyone their early to mid teens. The book would also be good a traveller as it compact, durable and has wealth of information about nonverbal foreign culture. As an artist I find this book provides great reference material for aesthetics of human behaviour.If you are interested in gaining superior understanding of body language I would purchase a different book. Irecomened a book by Joe Navarro entitled "What Every Body Is Saying" in addition to this I would and NLP book with heavy empasis on building "Rapport" such as "The Structure of Personality" or "Pursasion Skills Black Book".

If you're the very slow type, or a ten yr old then this is a great book for you. Otherwise, save your money. It's so simple it's borderline offensive.

Good pictures and enough detail to understand the theory. Worth a read but I think there are better books in the field than this.
